The dive center is very friendly and professional! My daughter and I are new OW guys. It's hard to find buoyancy in Penida's tides. Our instructor Budi helped me a lot. Over the three days of diving, I got used to the tides, found my buoyancy, and enjoyed the beauty world under the water. All of the people of Purple Dive Center were very friendly, Budi, Yvonne Ng and others. The location of the Purple Dive Center is very good, in the middle of the hillside, facing the sea. After diving back for lunch, you can enjoy the landscape of the sea and the Bali mountains. We were fortunate enough to dive with friendly, chatty dive teammates. We definitely will visit the diving center in the future when we visit the island again.

I went for two days of fun diving had a great experience at Purple Dive Penida! The dive center is beautiful, and as a guest you feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment you walk in (and the view of the ocean is great too!) Their boat is new and comfortable, and the entire crew made it feel like a 5 star experience. They took care of my gear, carried everything for me, and when I came to pick it up everything was nice and dry and ready for me to go. I live in Bali for several years and am now happy to now have a go-to dive center over in Penida, plus a handful of new friends :) See you all again soon!

We did our PADI Open water Training with PDP and really enjoyed it a lot. Yvonne was such a professional, passionate diver and is in generall vety kind. The dive school is beautifully located and we were spoiled with many spectacular dive spots. Thank you very much! We will definitely remember!

I took my Padi Open Water certificate at Purple Dive on Nusa Penida. Doing this I was in the best and safest of hands. Everyone there was extremely helpful and trustworthy. It was really important for us that we felt safe and diving on small groups with the same instructor all three days meant the world. Our instructor Sammy knew what he was doing from stat to finish and his calm and happy attitude was a perfect match for what I was looking for in an instructor. The best of recommendations for Purple Dive - these wonderful women have a great thing going here and a great team all in all.

Excellent diving school with kind, considerate and competent instructors. I felt like I was in good hands at any time during my PADI Open Water course. If you want to do a diving course or just go for a fun dive to see some Mantas, Purple Dive is a great choice!

I did a refresher and a dive with a group and the instructor Sami - he was outstanding: incredibly helpful, kind and patient. As I had a problem with my ear, we took it slow and I was able to go deep in the water thanks to him! Many many thanks :)

Such a chill group of instructors! I couldn’t be more happier about getting my open diver certification here. Sammy and Rian were excellent instructors and guided me very well despite my fears. By the end of the course I definitely felt more confident about my skills and eager to explore the new underwater world. Highly recommended and well worth a visit if you’re looking to dive for fun. I will surely visit and reconnect again when I’m back in Bali. Thanks for a splendid experience and new connections altogether!!

I booked the open water diver course. I had never been diving before and didn't know what to expect. Before I started, I was informed about the theory, the equipment and everything else. I felt very welcome right away and the facility with the pool and sea view was very nice and cosy. My instructor Sam took very good care of all the beginners. Even if I was nervous at the beginning and in between or had problems with exercises, he took a lot of time and calmed me down so that I could complete the course successfully. The dive spots were beautiful. The boat trip to the spots alone is worth it. We saw manta rays, turtles, a bamboo shark, countless fish and corals. Even the divers with more experience were thrilled. Next time in Nusa Penida, I will visit the diving school again!

Julia & Helene do more than organise your dive experience. They are quick in response and try to help in all matters. I put my kids care in their hands and would trust them and their recommendations! PADI certified the kids got a refresher course and did Manta and Mola. Waters and currents are strong so better choose this quality and experienced certified center! I did my advanced open water PADI with purple dive and it was amazing. My instructor Yvonne made me feel really comfortable under water (since I didn’t have that much experience yet) and made me smile a lot (with some water in my mask as a result 😉). It didn’t really matter what we saw, all the dives were really fun. After our dives finished we had lunch and the place is perfect to relax and chill for a bit after. Thank you so much :)
