The Art Of Body Studio Pilates

I first had Faz do Bowen on me a couple of years ago and was impressed with his style .... I happily returned again this January and once again Faz worked his magic mind and body ... I have been to a few Bowen treatments in Australia and Faz is in the top two that I have had work on my ailments ... feeling so good for my visit Faz ... thank you I will be back again sooner this time I hope.

Highly recommended - I will definitely come back again! I took the Back to Health package and it was way beyond my expectation. The practice with Faz helped me rediscover the true calmness and balance of body I’ve been seeking. After the sessions of Bowen, Pilates, posture analysis and myofascial release, the tension of my body especially the back pain has been greatly reduced. Best instructor ever!

As a beginner to Pilates I wanted to strengthen my core, enhance my posture and improve my breathing techniques. Faz managed to improve all of these in a short space of time, I couldn't be more happier with the outcome. Not only that, I walked into Faz's studio having come out of hospital just 3 weeks prior for some major lower back problems. Within one session, Faz managed to unlock some of the issues I was having, and the next day I was pain free!! Thank you Faz, and look forward to seeing you again the next time I am back in Bali!

Faz the owner & facilitator of the pilates studio has an amazing way of clearly explaining every pilates exercise he gets you to do right from the essential basics. His knowledge of the body and how it works is phenomenal. I booked in for rehab help on my lower back which he helped me with 100% and which I continue to practice at home. A Bowen Therapy Session was included in the package and was great in re-balancing my body. I went away feeling relaxed and light with no pain. His studio is a good space away from traffic and noise. I’ve had 3 Bowen sessions with Faz and they’ve been amazing. Something so subtle and gentle, yet has such a profound impact. I also managed to try a Pilates class and already can feel what a difference it made in my body. I’ll definifely be following up with more classes. It’s just the type of exercise I need and looking for to build strength.

I've been going to this studio for about a year now and I wish I had done it much sooner. Faz, the instructor is very professional but more importantly listens to the problems you experience and gives you personal advise throughout the whole semi private classes. He really checks whilst you are exercising and corrects you where needed, knowing the physical problems you have. Not only this but he also explains 'why' certain exercises, and more importantly 'how' you do them, are so important so you really understand what is going on. I was experiencing neck and back problems for years due to a car accident and some serious shoulder pains. After a short period of time in class and a couple of Bowen treatments in between I can't believe the improvement and how I feel so much better now. Faz really has a lot of professional experience and it is clear that he is very passionate about his job as he really wants to succeed in making you feel better. Since last month he moved to a newly built studio and the beautiful surrounding just gives it that extra touch. So, if you are looking for a Pilates instructor that not only listens but really helps you improve your posture and body in general, no need to look any further ! Oh and by the way, his classes are really fun too !

I really wish I lived in Bali so I could have regular pilates class with Faz. I have always been someone that is interested in improving body posture & looking after my body but having been to different group & private pilates & yoga classes in Australia & Nepal have somewhat put me off & on multiple times left me feeling unusually sore for days as most instructors I know are more focused on just conducting classes than taking the time to correct one's posture & teach others. Faz is the only instructor I have come across so far that not only treats his clients but also empowers them to be their best selves. The first session I had with him was a great revelation of how my body was supposed to work & how it ended up the way it was, I work as a nurse & go for regular hikes. That initial visit was last year in September & since then, I have been on a hunt for a pilates instructor back home in Australia & on my travels that is as passionate & generous in their knowledge as Faz but I haven't had such luck so I recently made a purposeful visit to Bali again in between my travels to see Faz again after completing Everest Base camp trek in Nepal. Besides pilates, I had the opportunity to have Bowen treatment too & instantly felt more energised & emotionally lighter right after the session. For the cost itself, I personally think one can't put any price to a session with Faz, please try it & you'll understand what I mean. The quality of the session / class with Faz is seriously nothing compared to how much we usually pay for a private session with a qualified pilates teacher & physiotherapist back in Australia (and I have been to several 1:1 physio sessions due to my overly active lifestyle & frequent small injuries as a result).
