Mhand & Shiraz are a couple who first met in Taghazout back in 2014. Shiraz, originally a DOP camera woman based in London, made the move with Matilda (Shiraz's then 6 year old daughter) to start Amayour Surf with Mhand, a surf instructor with over ten years experience teaching along The Atlantic coast.
They got the name from Amayour from M'hand's nickname which means full moon in berber. Mhand being a real local from the wild and stunning beaches of Tamri. He knows this coastline like no other.
They started Amayour Surf in October 2015 and have been growing their little project ever since; from little seeds big trees grow.
Amayour is a hostel that along with their wonderful team they are immensely proud to share with you.

Located just 50 minutes from Agadir airport with direct flights to a growing list of European destinations, TAMAZIRT BY AMAYOUR is located in a tranquil village where our fully equipped yoga studio overlooks the rolling hills in a small Amazigh village. It’s far enough from the new development currently underway in villages of Taghazout & Tamraght, yet close enough to hit the beaches in 13 minutes. We offer a spectacular location unlike anything in the region.
