For having been first when the hotel has just open, I would say it was a paradise! no more paradise now...
Suites design is still the same, matching with the overall surroundings and beach direct access. But a lot of services are no more meeting the standars : cleaning is just disgusting (no products used), towels given are more than dirty -not wached- with a horrible smell, food is over priced regarding the quality -they use frozen fish for example while they have near the location a fresh fish market!-, breakfast buffet is correct but currently most of dishes are broken! Better go outside, near the hotel a small vilage offering several supermarkets, fish/meat/chiken grills, delicious local traditionnal bread, fresh fruits and vegetables.
Concerning hotel's beach front, enough chairs and umbrellas are provided and hotel beach boys are excellent. Unfortunatly, numerous vendors and camels & horses riders go back and forth all the day in front of client harassing them and standing up just in front of you hiding the beach view... and no beach relaxing means no hotel utility. The hearth of the place is the sea and only the sea.
At the beginning the hotel concept was dedicated also to the protection of the environment and the beach numerous natural ressources. When swimming you doing it with shoal of fishes -just amazing and wonderfull- But currently, this noble cause has been abandonned, and the hotel management is having difficulties just to insure its clients quiet beach rest and even safety.
Important notice, the beach spots in this part of the southern moroccan costs (lending from Agadir to Esaouira) are among the best in the country, offering quiet sea, nice goldy sand beaches, rich biodiversity and beautiful landscapes. A region that surely deserves ecotraveling dynamic.
Hotel doesn't offer an interesting entertainement programs, it's limited to some dancing evening with DJs and night films screening, nothing special dedicated to children, what a pity when now the place is becoming more a family destination than a surfers spot!. The managment needs to re think its business plan, maybe an all inclusive club offer would suit best...
However for unconditional lovers of seaside and heavenly sunsets it's the place...let the rest to the management who needs seriously to think about what are the real priorities and how to reach best service quality.
