Surf Star has over delivered on all expectations. I came with two friends and would bet none of them would ever stand on a surf board. Voila, 3-days later and they both have their own surfing photo. Hospitality of the hosts is mind-blowing, from surf instructors to kitchen staff, managers, yoga teacher, photographer and entertainers - they are all giving more than 100% to make this place come together every single day. My wife and I have just got back after an amazing short break with Surf Star Morocco. From the moment we were picked up at the airport until the moment we were dropped back we were greeted with a genuine friendly welcome. From the drivers, to the reception staff, the kitchen staff and the instructors, they all do a fantastic job in making sure you are well looked after from start to finish. Great place, great staff, amazing food and the nicest bunch of guests we have had the pleasure of sharing a holiday with....we'll be back Surf Star!!

In the six years we have been surfing in Tamraght it feels like the number of surf houses has doubled every year. I can only imagine that lots of the newcomers are discovering how difficult it is to get everything running smoothly. The good news for us is that Lucie, Mo and their wonderful team continue to pay attention to all the details that go together to make a great holiday. Comfortable accommodation, all equipment provided, logistics that run smoothly and a lovely mixed crowd drawn from many countries across three continents. Special mention for the lovely food, eaten with new and old friends around the long table. As always this is a holiday that works for singles, groups and families because everyone has surfing in common. Whether you are a complete beginner or super-experienced in the line-up you will find a great holiday at Surf Star Morocco.

This place is amazing, the staff are all so kind and friendly and helpful. The food is always delicious, healthy and plentiful (you will never go hungry!). The instructors are super helpful and managed to get me surfing with no experience! I meet so many new friends and will definitely be back again! And the roof top 2x daily yoga is also a treat.

I've been a repeat guest here many times and it never loses its magic. Lovely staff, food, gorgeous rooms with the most comfy beds in the world. Theres always lovely mix of people and a great atmosphere with no pressure to party at all. The age range and surf experience is always well mixed and they go to surf spots for all abilities from beginner to guiding. Love this place and planning my 11th trip.out there soon

A fantastic place where you can pass time surfing and doing yoga in good company. I travelled alone in July and had one of the best life experiences. The place is ideal, the surf instructors were very friendly and professional. The girls from the reception were charming, they're welcome to visit me in Barcelona any time!

Very clean Hostel, kind staff, very well organised! Good combination of surfing and getting to know the local culture. The surf teacher and staff went out of their way to give us a great day: looked for a spot with waves, offered us other activities like visiting paradise valley etc.. I really recommend visiting Tagazout as well, it is only a short taxidrive from tamraght.

This is my happy-place!! I’ve been to Surf Star 3 times now both alone and with friends. I’ve visited many other surf camps in Morocco and also in Portugal and Bali etc. Surf Star is by far the best surf camp there is. The staff is so amazing ! Really friendly and enthusiastic and good at what they do. The surf instructors are great for both beginners and for more experienced surfers. The boards and wetsuits are good quality and they have a good variety of shapes and sizes. The yoga is great and the roof terrace is just perfect for it. The food is delicious and very very fresh and safe and clean (which is not always the case in Morocco). The common areas are super cosy and the rooms and showers are nice, tasteful and clean. I would recommend this camp for anyone anytime :)

We stayed for a week at Surf Star but easily could have stayed forever! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel completely at home and relaxed - they even saved us lunch. The food was delicious and there was lots of it - you will not go hungry and will get addicted to the bread and garlic butter! All the staff are so friendly and really make an effort to make you feel part of the family and it really helps everyone get to know each other and enjoy themselves. The rooms are spacious and clean and the view from the roof terrace is spectacular! Its a great place for surfers of all levels - the instructors are great guys, so patient, they make you feel very safe and you can tell that they really love their jobs, I can not speak highly enough about them! I had an amazing time at the Surf Star! The facilities were immaculate. The staff was super nice and helpful. The food was amazing. I ended up doing a guided surf tour package for the week I was at the Surf Star, and every day we would check out new and fun surf spots. The surf guides were super knowledgeable of local surf breaks and conditions, and always manage to find epic places to surf. You could say whether or not you preferred rights, lefts, point breaks, reef breaks, beach breaks, crowds, or isolated surf breaks, and inevitably the surf guides would find exactly what you were interested in. This is a testament to how rich and diverse surf breaks are in Morocco, and how damn good the staff are at the Surf Star. Last, but certainly not east, the guests the Surf Star seems to attract are some of the coolest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending time with. My holiday there was one of the best I’ve ever had, and I’m already planning my return!

Surf Star is one of the best places I've ever been to. As it was my first time surfing and solo traveling I wasn't sure what to expect but even though, Surf Star exceeded all my expectations. The team makes you feel like you're part of the family, the vibe is so relaxed and fun and the instructors taught me how to ride waves in only one week! Add a morning or afternoon yoga session to it and top it of with the best food you ever tasted, and you'll have the vacation of a lifetime. I seriously can't wait to get back there as soon as possible!

Two years ago I started out as a newby surfer. By chance, luck, or whatever you want to call it, I ended up choosing to stay at Surf Star. I immediately understood I had found something truly extraordinary. I fell in love with the atmosphere created by the family-connected staff and the mix of nationalities and ages of the guests. Thanks to the skills of experienced instructors like Simo, I rather quickly got the hang of the basics and my skills grew. The fact that I've just come back from my 5th stay in 2 years says it all. The staff said they now consider me part of their family. So I really feel Surf Star is my second home. Even if I'm now skilled enough to surf on my own, without lesson, I continue coming to Surf Star to go surfguiding. They know the spots and help me improve even more. So whether you're completely new to surfing or come with much experience, I guarantee you will never regret a stay at Surf Star.

I can't rate this place highly enough. Never, have I stayed anywhere that makes you feel part of the family quite like this place does. Everyone from the surf instructors to the kitchen staff and cleaners are perfect. The food is so tasty and you will never go hungry. I can't wait for my next visit to surfstar!

I travelled to Surf Star as a solo female traveller and initially was a bit nervous but as soon as I arrived, all of my worries were dispelled by the amazing reception from the house. The staff are so friendly and genuinely care about helping you throughout your stay, they go out of their way to ensure that you are having the best time. The house itself has a really social atmosphere and I have met some of the best people on my trip from all over the world. I had never surfed before but popped up on my first day and by the 6 day, I was ready to go out into the line up. The instructors are professional and create success (shout out to Hassan, my amazing teacher!). I don't have a bad word to say about this place, great food, great company and huge improvements in surfing and yoga. I will be back this year for sure! Book now!

I had a week at Surf Stars lovely place and it was amazing! Everything from the always friendly staff, to the great surf sessions on the beach and the yoga on the roof top was excellent. I will definitely come back - soon!

I spent 4 days here with 2 friends, easy transfer from the airport 30mins away. The apartments are roomy with plenty of storage and comfy beds.... you'll need you're sleep after all the surfing. The communal areas are beautiful and have a great atmosphere, great to spend the evening on the roof playing cards next to the fire pit. We were surfing beginners and all were up ok our feet on the first day, the team are so encouraging. All day spent at the beach is so much fun but also relaxing if you want to read in the sun all afternoon as I did. Food is great, there's a variety every day and always healthy, no issues with my dietary requirements, I'm gluten and lactose free and always had lovely meals. For unhealthy snacks there are shops in the village. Great holiday with mates but many people were travelling solo and made friends there. I plan to go back for a week next year!

At Surf Star everyone looks out for you and cares about you. The surf instructors really take the time to see what your level is and challenge you in ways that you never thought possible. You can see the progression in your skills each day that goes by and the instructors genuinely care about you as a person. By the time you leave it almost feels as if the people working there are your family so it is no wonder that many guests keep coming back year after year. I love that they take pictures of you while you are surfing and show you different ways that you can improve. Surf star makes me feel like I am home and I will come back every year. Thank you Surf star for the amazing food, yoga, and incredible surfing experience. I have grown so much and it is all because of you. :)
