Lovely, absolutely lovely. I don't know how else to describe our experience at Stef and Philippes' yoga "retreat". I had booked a half day experience here through AirBnb, and we were scheduled to be there at 8am. Due to my crazy travel schedule over the past few weeks, I accidentally set my alarm for 7PM, instead of AM.... ugh I thought it was done for for sure. When I reached Stef, they were able to switch us around to an afternoon time instead, and still be able to serve us lunch and have (one of the best) massages as well. We were a little lost trying to find our way, since it's not on the main road, but rather an alley off the main road, and again another small alley off that. Once inside, however, our moods instantly changed. We were basically family to them, and made ourselves comfortable. There have a gracious host (forgive me for forgetting his name), who attended to us often. They have a small cafe inside, and we enjoyed a three course healthy vegan lunch. A small piece of a tart made with tomato and mixed vegetables, grains, followed by a crunchy salad with a cucumber coriander dressing, and then something like a play on a carrot cake smoothie with a rolled cake ball (like a truffle) in fennel seed. Each of us went upstairs to the rooftop and relaxed on a cabana bed while the other had a massage. Very good with her hands, and slightly more hands on than the US lol. Nothing dirty, but had a tummy massage, and the sides and underneath of my chest. Well hello there. haha I suppose you could say something if you felt awkward. Lastly, we joined Stef downstairs for an hour yoga session, comfortable and relaxing, a great stretch! My partner, not limber so much, even gave it his best shot. She was very patient with him though. Super pleased with this experience!
