Koh Tao Coral Grand Resort

We spend 10 wonderful days here, 2 adults and 3 children. We had a perfect 2-bedroom cottage and we enjoyed the pool and the beach big time. The employees were all very friendly, we would certainly love to come back another time.

the grestest place to stay for vacation. beautiful beach resort. very nice and quite. not too much busy like other island. good for relaxing. and also the best place for diving here with very professional instructor. very helpful and friendly staff. 5 star service with smiling staff everyday. the food was really good. enjoy it verymuch.

Great resort located at the northern end of Sairee Beach. Dive instructor was fantastic, not only was he extremely knowledgeable about diving he made the course a blast! The dive center even included free nights with the course, first time I had my own room to myself in ages. The resort itself is very quiet, perfect for diving but the town is only a 5 minute walk away for dinner and to go out.

This place was a great choice in this mid price range. Better than many others on the island. Whilst the cottages may be a little tired, they are clean, spacious, private and quiet. The staff here were some of the best I have experienced on my holiday. Very attentive and happy to help. Would recommend for quieter stay on northern Sairee beach

Me and my partner visited this beautiful resort last September for my 21st birthday. I did my Padi open water course and he did the Tri-spec diving course. Both of us found our instructors, Stephen and Mitch very professional and all instructors were welcoming and happy to help at any time. Before we even arrived in country we booked online through Sandy who was most helpful. The room was simple but perfect for what we needed as most of our days we spent diving and exploring the island. Restaurant food was fantastic, and all staff on hand happy to help with any inquiries or excursion information. Pricing was very fair for accommodation, food and dive courses. We are now planning our return to Coral Grand Divers Resort for this year to complete other diving courses and are both really excited to be coming back!! 🙂

The Resort is located nicely, a bit north of the center, on a quiet place. The bungalows are already old and the bed was hard. The breakfast and the swimming pool were excellent. Swimming on the neach near the Hotel is not possible.

It is a wonderful resort. The staff are friendly and efficient. The snorkelling day trip was fabulous thanks to the ever-cheerful khun Sandy who did everything possible to guarantee we all had a great time !

We just completed Padi open water with KRAI at Koh Tao, and we highly recommend him. He took great care of my son (15) and I as well as my younger son who just did Bubble maker (3 times). Krai is from UK and is very professional, serious and fun to have as instructor. Thanks to him and the whole crew at Coral and Montra Resorts (where we stayed), Thanks to Khun Pissimat, Khun Pornthep and Khun Soo for being so kind to us as well.

Stayed here for one week in an air conditioned bungalow just steps to the beach. Very quiet spot, day and night. Bungalow was roomy and clean, however the bed was a bit harder than we prefer, but still slept good. Hot shower and clean bathroom. A/C worked well..thank goodness. Also a ceiling fan helped move the air. Only 3 channels to view on the TV but we didn’t come to Thailand to watch TV all day and night. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was very good as was the food served off their menu. Only gripe on the food, they do not know how to make a margarita. Fresh fruit shakes and beer were good. Wifi works but is slow. Nice outdoor pool area. Short walk down the beach to more shops and restaurants. Free taxi in morning and afternoon down to the piers where there are more shops and restaurants and where you arrive and leave the island. Beautiful beach to watch the spectacular sunsets from. We would definitely stay here again.

The resort was not great at all. Stayed at a 4 people dorm and we had no AC, only a fan. There were ants all over our room and even though we put our trashcan outside, they were still everywhere. We only stayed because we participated in the diving course at Coral Grand Divers. However they did clean our room everyday, but I wouldn’t have stayed at the resort if it wasn’t included in the price for the diving certificate...
