Scuba birds is a great dive school. We had a great experience there doing our open water and advanced course. They were organised and extremely accommodating about changes in our schedule. Efim was our instructor and he was brilliant.

It was our first time diving and we felt like we were in very safe hands. The first dive was a great introduction to the gear and diving in general. The second dive was magical, the instructors had grest communication throughout the dive and brought us to some sensational views of the abundant aquatic life. Would highly recommend especially for first timers. We would happily book again the next time we're in koh tao! (they also have great cookies on the boat 😅)

I did my certification with Dominik who was such a great instructor. I was so scared to do this and wasn't sure I would make it but Dominik was so supportive and made the whole experience so interesting and fun. I definitely recommend getting your certification with scuba birds in Koh Tao! Such an amazing experience!

We came back to Scuba Birds after doing PADI qualification last year. They are a really awesome team. This year we did fun dives + bubblemaker + refresher course. The instructors are brilliant - knowledgable, supportive and highly professional with all aspects - equipment selection, boat induction, pre-dive briefing, checks, clear communication underwater and great guys to spend time with. Also, they are the best value for money on Koh Tao. We highly recommend Scuba Birds and will return to dive with them when we return to Koh Tao.

I completed my PADI Open Water certificate yesterday and had a great experience with Scuba Birds throughout. Zlata and the rest of the crew are all extremely professional, accommodating, helpful, and super friendly. My instructor, Krishna, was absolutely amazing! As this was my first time diving, it was important to me to feel comfortable under water. I felt completely safe under Krishna’s watchful eyes. He is an experienced diver, very helpful and friendly—and most importantly—he’s excellent at thoroughly communicating the skills needed to become a diver. He guided me through confined water, and 4 dives in open water. Krishna knows his stuff well and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled instructor to complete their Open Water certificate 👌🏼 The course was really reasonably priced and included e-learning (so I could prepare before arriving, which saved a lot of time), Open Water course, transfer to Koh Tao from Koh Samui, and hotel room right next to the dive shop by the sea 😍 All in all, I had an amazing experience, so if you’re considering taking your Open Water certificate—stop considering and book it with Scuba Birds 🐡🤿

I booked through whatsapp, got picked up from Koh Samui, landed in Koh Tao, and was in the water by 1:30 pm. The dives weren’t rushed, the boat we were on had good bathrooms, coffee, and decent snacks. When I almost ran out of oxygen, everything was sorted smoothly and safely. So overall everything was safe, well organized, comfortable, and no one tried to upsell me anything when I said I just want to go diving the whole weekend. Thanks guys!

Brilliant! The whole experience with Scuba Birds was top notch! The communication beforehand was clear and concise and they sent all the information over beforehand allowing us to complete the theory side of our course before we arrived. Once in Kho Tao the diving was also great. David made us feel safe and comfortable throughout and we felt like we learnt loads across the three days! Would definitely recommend for PADI courses! One of the cheapest on the island as well!

I went for the advanced padi course, currently staying in Koh Phangan, the school offered me a very interesting package with transfer + PADI course + accommodation included. My instructor Nelly, was very friendly and nice taking the time to show me all the interesting underwater places of Ko Tao. Totally recommended !

Open Water Diver course is a gate way to a new world! This was my first ever experience diving and I got absolutely hooked after this course. Scuba Birds team was super helpful in patiently explaining the details of diving, gave the gear, an awesome teacher Kray Farrow and an opportinity to explore the underworld. I am extremely grateful for the experience I had and the know-how Kray gave us. He shared his passion of diving with us and made as us fall in live with diving. He is a great teacher, making everything ease to learn and overcome the fears of the first-time divers. Also, could not skip unmentioned - he’s got a great sense of humor and is overall fun to be around - which is extremely important in such a three day journey. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend doing your PADI divers course at scuba birds. I did the 3 days Open water course and loved it. My instructor Kray was really helpful, skilled and patient. He was great at spotting if you were nervous with any of the tasks and really patient while helping you. I also did a fun dive afterwards, which I would recommend as you are so much more relaxed and have more time to see everything. My instructor was Nelly, she was so skilled and we saw both multiple rays and pufferfish and a lot more. I had the best time!!
