I had a wonderful experience diving with these guys. They are very professional, fun and experienced. The owner, Kevin, teaches almost every specialty PADI has to offer. I did my sidemount and self-reliant diver courses here and had 6 fabulous dives. My instructor Kevin was am expert on the dive sites we visited and showed us tons of unique and beautiful sea creatures. As for the shop itself, it's incredibly organized and offers you high quality gear, both for sale and rent. The classroom is comfortable, air conditioned and has an array of free beverages for students :) If you want a quality diving experience I HIGHLY recommend this shop!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience with Vincent, Kevin and all the crew at Kiwi Diver, doing my PADI Advance Open Water course over 2 days in Phuket. They must be some of the most professional divers in Phuket; the gear provided was 1st class, and the uncompromising approach to safety and the quality of training ensured I was not just "ticking the boxes" but actually learning and further honing the skills I already had. The boats were well catered and staffed, and sites were within 1-2 hours offshore both days which left plenty of time for accurate briefings and planning for the dives. The dive sites saw spectacular coral and wildlife, and the King Cruiser shipwreck was certainly an experience I will not soon forget. Thanks again to the great people at Kiwi Diver!

My husband and I are avid fans of Kiwidiver, having been diving with them three times. We have lived in southeast Asia for six years and have searched hard for the perfect blend of knowledge, safety and adventure, and Kevin offers just that. His equipment is top notch and extremely well cared for, his knowledge, and that of Vincent, are exemplary, and he books boats that he trusts going to sites that are outstanding. For both novice and experienced divers, a series of dives with Kevin is a brilliant experience. There is no doubt we will return again. By far the best dive shop we have been diving with in our time here.

Great day out with Vincent and Kiwi Diver. Clean and well maintained gear, best we've seen. These guys are professional and take pride in their work. Vincent gave us a refresher (hadn't dived for 18 months) and then took us on to see reefs and wrecks when he saw we were up to speed. It was no problem to help us review the PADI video and course book prior to our dive and on the day all was well prepared for us. Vincent gives you confidence as he's seen it all before and is no nonsense. Food on board was generous and the staff on the boat hard working and super friendly. Definitely look these guys up if you want to dive in Phuket.

Initial contact by email was promptly responded too -(more than I can say for some others!). Great user friendly website too. Kevin came and personally picked us up and took us for equipment fitting before the dive trip. Very friendly and enthusiastic- happy to answer any questions honestly. The rental gear was the best I have used, excellent condition- and great to see sterilisers used on all Regs too. Met Vincent, our DM, at the pier. Very professional, great communicator with a practical approach. Briefing was comprehensive, and the dives at Racha Yai very enjoyable. Vincent was always ready to assist in any possible way and very reassuring to a group of relatively new divers. I have dived with another very well known company in Phuket and there is no comparison-Kiwidiver is streets ahead. Keep up the excellent work-we will dive with you again and highly recommend you to anyone asking!

I have been diving around the world for years and soon realized there is a huge variability in quality. When it came to choosing a Dive Center in Phuket the choice was extensive! When I first walked in to Kiwidiver I assumed that the owner was ex-military, every thing was organised, the standards and attention to detail was high. The proprietor Kevin Black clearly runs the best dive school in Phuket, his teaching standards are excellent, with a vast selection of courses and prices are very competitive.

I have never scuba dived before, didn't know how to go about learning it. A friend mentioned kiwidiver so off I went I was impressed with the instruction I had with kevin. the equipment was first class and I could tell how good his instruction was when I went out diving with him. particularly when I saw how the other divers were flapping around and crashing into us. Kevin has completed countless dives And it shows in the way he goes about his business. I completed the open water, the advanced diver and the nitrox courses with kevin and will be going back for more in november. If you are over that way look him up. I guarantee you will receive excellent training I loved it

We recently returned from a week long stay in Phuket and diving with Kiwi. It was a fantastic experience, I took my advanced open water course with Marc, he was an awesome instructor I would recomend him to anyone looking to take a training course or as a guide for fun dives. The only thing about Kiwi that I did not like was the very limited payment options, cash only, it would be much nicer if there was a credit card machine. But otherwise it was a great experience and we would definitely go back again.

Kevin is thorough without being annoying, he understands what you want and goes out of his way to provide it, he is friendly and supportive without being in your face and he is a considerate and communicative dive buddy. I have dvied many many years in many places and I felt safe and very looked after in his company. Facilities and equipment sre conscientiously maintained. Reallly, not a bad word to say about the whole experience.

My experience with Kiwidiver is the best i've ever had. i booked a liveaboard with Kevin Black at Kiwidiver in January 2012 for 7 days. The dive shop is very clean and professional as well as Padi 5 star certified. We researched what we wanted and Kevin at Kiwidiver had everything we needed at a great price.. His equipment is immaculate.. it's clean and perfectly maintained.. he even had scuba socks! He found us a fantastic dive guide and certified Padi instructor, Art Fallon, who made our experience better than we imagined. I would definately suggest Kiwidiver if you want to dive in that area.. seriously, i think Kiwidiver is the best. There is nothing better in a dive shop than feeling that the owner(Kevin) and staff care and want you to have the best experience... you feel that from the moment you walk through the door. Kevin goes out of his way to make you feel happy, safe, and secure. I would say our dive trip was phenomenal because we booked with Kiwi. A special thanks to Kevin and Art. I'll be back. :)
