Ko Lipe Diving School

We stumbled upon Koh Lipe Diving School when I was looking to purchase a mask and snorkel. Eric happened to be at the desk and was very knowledgeable regarding the different mask types, material, and best fit for me. He also offered to help me prepare the mask so that it wouldn’t fog as easily. We decided to dive with Koh Lipe Diving School because from that initial interaction we could already tell that we would be receiving a superb experience with professionals. And we were definitely impressed! I signed up for the Advanced Open Water course with Eric and we would start the day with a 30 min whiteboard talk about what I was learning that day. Throughout my dives, Eric was very attentive and made sure to reinforce the things that I was learning. I could feel the noticeable improvement from all his teachings. It is also evident that he loves the marine life and we spotted an amazing breadth of fishes. We dived at different sites every time as well. Their shop is conveniently located on Walking Street and is a quick walk to Pattaya beach where we board the boat. The diving boat they use is also a beautiful, spacious, 3 story boat with an amazing sundeck. The Thai staff on board were super helpful and attentive as well, always watching to help people with their gear. We were also provided with a simple and delicious lunchbox between dives, and there were always two plates of fresh fruit as well as water, coffee, and tea. Overall it was such a wonderful experience and we are so happy we chose to dive with Koh Lope Diving School. Best diving shop on the island!

We had a great time diving with KLD! The staff is super friendly and considerate to the needs of our experience levels. We were a group of four with beginners and more experienced divers alike. Some of us had up to 15 dives around Koh Lipe and each of us had a wonderful time!

The team at the school was amazing. Not only did they do some great refresher training for my wife and I but also got my 10 year old through his Junior Open Water certification. The patience and care they took in addressing our sons understandable concerns and countless questions was amazing. We can’t say enough good things about this team and the school. Well done and thank you for showing our boy how amazing diving can be.

Diving very professional I dived 2 times and I’ve done adventure dive with Eric. He was very nice and very professional. The dive’s sites were amazing an aquarium with jellyfish, sea horses and wonderful corals. Koh lipe is one of the best place to dive in Thailand.

My partner and I just finished 13 dives over 7 days with Koh Lipe Diving School. We did 10 fun dives and the PADI Deep Diver (40M/130ft) course with a great team of Instructors and Divemasters. English, French, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish all spoken here. Would highly recommend Eric and his team for your Koh Lipe diving choice - highly professional across the board, safety is paramount at each step of their operation and your experience. Friendly and fun, great boats and rental gear, and with a broad range of dive sites you are guaranteed a top notch experience here - not something guaranteed with all dive shops in Thailand. Highly recommended for both training and fun dives. Good lunch with fruit, drinks provided during boat excursions and the dive shop is well equipped with most gear you might need or have forgotten. It was such a great experience with Koh Lipe Diving School. I've chosen them for my Open Water course and after this - for Advanced OW. I had 10 dives in total. My instructor Addie was brilliant, the whole team is very professional and passionate about what they are doing. They own two best diving shops on the island with this special fantastic diving vibe everywhere. The diving boat is big and comfortable, diving sights are so different and beautiful! I was newbie and felt myself safe and relaxed all the way. Koh lipe diving school was definitely the right choice and I highly recommend it to everyone! PS: Addie, Michael, Joseph, Louis, Emily, David, Bridget, Adam, Elizabeth (i hope i didn't mistake with names 😊) and all the others, thank you so much for this great experience!

It was an incredible experience with 2 instructors, Carmen and David, very professional and very friendly. It was my first scuba diving and I stressed a lot ..... the team tought me how to do ..... and the dream became ..... i will do that again wiyh the same agency!!!!! A great moment!!!!

I went on fun dives with Koh Lipe Diving School for 2 days and can only recommend them. They are very professional, put safety first, and are a great team. With little dive experience, I felt looked after very well. Carmen even helped me improve on my neutral buoyancy, thanks for that! Adam took great photos, perfect to take home as a memory. If you’re thinking about diving on Ko Lipe, there’s only one team to go with. These guys are the real deal. Super professional set up, brilliant instructors and safety the priority. My partner and I had never dived before, we did the Open Water, loved it so much we ended up doing our advanced certification a few weeks later. Throughout both courses we had an instructor to ourselves. The instructors David & Michael have been diving on Ko Lipe for years and are the absolute best. They’re pros in the water and clowns at the bar. In all seriousness, they truly know their stuff, were awesome teachers, we felt very safe, they know the dive sites like the back of their hand, were amazing at finding all sorts of cool marine life for us to see and made our experience too much fun. As did everyone we met in the team - all wonderful human beings. We came for the diving and left Lipe feeling part of their family. No matter your level of experience this lot will give you the best time. And like us, you won’t ever want to leave the island.

Don't bother with looking around for good dive schools this one is the best. Best boats best and well trained staff very knowledgeable and experienced divers. Fantastic experience my only choice. Highly recommend.
