a place to strengthen + surrender A NOTE FROM THE CREATOR: “I created Collective Movement because there is a gap in the boutique fitness industry. As a boutique group fitness teacher with 10 years with experience in America and the Middle East, I can attest that there is no studio like ours. I personally (and professionally) NEEDED more. I had to start feeling purpose within the movements, and I felt the calling to build a team to spread the way that I found freedom, enlightenment, and confidence in my mind + body. Pilates + Yoga are passions of mine, but not how they are served mainstream. My past professional dance training and experience combined with my continuous practice in energy-work and mindfulness has lead me to create Collective Movement, Collective Flow, and Collective Release. Each of the class modalities are designed with the whole human in mind; the Physical Body and the Energetic Body. The three class modalities are completely different experiences and intensity levels, but all have 3 fundamental disciplines: Connection to deeper meaning of breath: You will learn to use your breath as a mystical tool of detox, and liberation. Free Flow/Ecstatic Movement: You will always be given the space to move your body in free, organic way in order to express deeper emotional storylines. Finding the practice within transitions: “Working in the gray zone” as I like to say; we don’t just focus on the Black + White of physical positions, we focus just as much on the transitions and the choices your body makes in the positions. Located in Hotel Indigo - Business Bay Light + Airy in the morning, and Candlelit in the evening; everything we do is with intention. Healing scents are used to cleanse the space, and essential oil sprays are used during grounding portions of class.
