DISCOVER YOUR BODY: TRY PILATES AT THE PAD If you’re someone who loves their health, you’ve probably tried many different forms of fitness in many different places. We’re not expecting you to go back to school and learn biology. We are proposing that you learn about your body in the most fun and exciting way possible – through Pilates! PILATES Pilates is a movement form inspired by martial arts, yoga, weight lifting and gymnastics. It takes the best parts of all these forms of movement and to ensure that after you finish a Pialtes class, your body feels longer, stronger, taller and moves more efficiently. YASMIN KARACHIWALA The PAD brings celebrity master instructor Yasmin Karachiwala’s mantra to the UAE. She is responsible for popularizing Pilates in India, as she was the first BASI certified Pilates instructor in India. She teaches Bollywood celebrities such as Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt, and is largely responsible for their dedication towards fitness. WHY DO PILATES AND DANCE? Here are two short videos - one explains how the world feels about Pilates today and the second explains the History of Pilates, where it came from, and the importance and relevance of it in today’s day and age. While Pilates targets and effects every single muscle in the body, it does not provide you with a cardiovascular workout. That’s where dance comes in! Our dance classes through the week are a fun mix of high intensity choreography which will get your blood pumping and leave you with a well-rounded, full-body workout.
