The Raj is an excellent facility which was founded by the most subtle and investigative intellects that wanted to bring the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda back into the modern times which are dominated of stress and discord. You must take a week of vacation at this location which will help you to retain and re-fresh the wholeness of yourself once again. I could not even get to the point of having the treatments booked after spending 30 min of trying it over the phone with the Reservations office. Organization of things there falls way short of the high level claimed to be an "America's premier Ayurveda Health Center"

It would be hard to describe just how special my recent stay at the Raj was. Most of us define health as the absence of disease. That is not a full definition of health. Health is the presence of wholeness, of balance, of joyfulness and even of bliss. The ancient science of Ayurveda provides the modalities to experience the growth of all these qualities. Every day at the Raj was special for me because I experienced real health being generated from a deep place within me. The ancient treatments of Ayurveda are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago when the science of Ayurveda arose. My advise to anyone reading this is don't define health as the absence of disease...don't wait around for something to happen to you where you have to go to a doctor and often begin a process of healthcare that often is invasive and leaves you with unwanted side-effects. Take control of your health and the future of your heath by restoring balance in your mind and body now. And while you are doing that, increase your levels of energy, vitality, balance and joy in your life. One cannot put a price tag on increasing those elements in one's life. Thank you the Raj from the bottom of my heart.

I'm really happy the Raj, under the direction of its Medical Director, Dr Mark Toomey, has started making its own brand of Ayurvedic oils. I've been using two for the past week: Goddess Oil and Sweet Dreams. Both oils are very affordable and of the highest quality.
