Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps to not only build flexibility, but also strength, endurance, and coordination in the legs, abdominals, arms and back.Whitney trains male and female clients in classical Pilates, as well as Sports Conditioning Pilates, which improves athletes’ flexibility, alleviates muscular fatigue from intense training and diminishes rate of injury. Whitney fuses Pilates into traditional strength training with uniquely developed exercises to provide relief between sets, maximize efficiency of each rep, optimize core strength and activate stabilization muscles that too frequently nap through workouts. The Result: total body toning and conditioning.
