I have had many great experiences here going to Kirtan’s!! I even slept over one night.. this place is a rare gem in the middle of the city. The shop has everything you need from books to altar items and there are lots of yoga classes and workshops to choose from. The energy of the place blesses you as you enter.

Integral Yoga Institute is a great community! A spiritual place to help nurture the inner self. As a young adult my mother introduced me to IYI with the gift of yoga and meditation classes. As a result when I got older and needed to heal it became my sanctuary. I took their yoga teacher training and now offer classes at medical centers in New York.????

It’s the real deal! Integral yoga is a spiritual oasis in the chaos that is NYC at times! I’ve been coming here for 15 years, and the energy as you just enter into the building is very calming. The yoga classes are a meditative style of hatha including all the elements of yoga (asana, breathing, deep relaxation, meditation, etc) while being challenging and fun within whatever level you are practicing. Whatever kind of yoga you are looking for - beginner-advanced Hatha, restorative, yin yoga, gentle/chair yoga, yoga for arthritis, deep relaxation - Integral Yoga has it! IYI also offers many different workshops and trainings! Do not miss out on the beauty that is Integral Yoga! I did my basic Yoga teacher training here in 2004, as well as many other trainings since and without a doubt it has been one of the best things I could have ever done! I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach and serve at Integral!

I took Taravati's Gentle class in the Lavender room. As a Yoga teacher for my community I was interested in learning about accessible Yoga/Gentle yoga. She was wonderful. Her flow was innovative & her care for her students was on point. She gave helpful modifications & gentle encouragement when needed. As a music teacher I was really impressed with her voice & use of Call & Response Mantra. I left not only extremely relaxed but inspired by such an amazing teacher. Thank you Tania! ?

Participating in their classes, seminars and events has expanded my life in unexpected and beautiful ways.

I enjoyed two beautiful classes while I was visiting New York. The teachers not only helped me stretch my body and calm my mind, they led me to a place of deep wellbeing. And the bookstore is incredible! Highly recommended.
