I took my first class of yoga ever yesterday and I must say that it was a rewarding experience. I was putting it off for the longest time but then remember that no one is promised tomorrow so I bit the bullet and did the downward dog�. Looking at the rest of the class got me pumped and helped me get through it. I defiantly stopped a few times but I did better than I imagined and I will return for another class.

After visiting a different studio while traveling this weekend I had to give a shout out to BYH! I am by no means a "pro" and have only been practicing for a little over a year, however my recent experience left me with a greater appreciation for the Harlem studio. The instructor of the class I took participated in the practice with the students and also allowed students to enter and leave the room freely during the 90 min session. These details proved to be distracting and really made the BYH instructors stand out. Our instructors not only help guide the new students but also consistently offer corrections or reinforcement to all. I am not posting this to bash the other studio but to rather praise BYH. I'm glad to be back!

I love the Harlem Bikram Yoga studio. The staff and instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. The owner Adam is amazing, understanding and a wonderful human being. I just love getting sweat on at this studio. Everyone makes you feel so comfortable and at ease.

Bikram was my second home when I started practice! I was there sometimes three times a day, sometimes 90 days in roll... I loved the place, I love my teachers and I loved to be a work study because you meet practitioners on different level, I loved most and made some friends! Good luck Bikram Harlem will always remember you and all parties and celebrations we had, just like home!!!much love and thank you the owners to dare open such a great place uptown!!!

BYH is an amazing studio with a wonderful community of fantastic people. I have learned so much at this studio about myself and my mind. Especially that patience is really truly a virtue. Nothing comes in a second. You have to work hard for it and let your mind give you the power to do so because our minds are a very POWERFUL thing. Like they say, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste", and our bodies are our temples, so cherish them both.

This is one of if not the most incredible places to practice yoga - not just Bikram yoga but any kind of yoga - in NYC. There is no studio more friendly, welcoming, supportive, all-inclusive than BYHarlem. The teachers have such love for their students and such faith in every student's ability to grow physically and mentally. They make classes fun and inspiring. Try it out!

Bikram yoga Harlem has become one of my favorite's places to be! There's no "I can't do it" is more of "I'm trying!" Each instructor has made me more confident of my daily trying. I just can't get enough! So glad to be part of their community!

Bikram Yoga Harlem is the ONLY studio for me. I love the people, the support, it's a real community. Life got in the way of yoga for a little bit, but never again. BYH is a life-saver -- it's my "affordable health care"!

It was my first Yoga class and i loved it. The instructor was awsome and so was the atmosphere. I left feeling relaxed and i slept peacefully last night. I will go back again. So if your in need of a work out try Bicram Yoga , stretch more than just your body!!!!

I Love the harlem studio. The pay what you can afford class was great. $10 suggestion is not bad at all especially for first timers. The instructor was very welcoming and warm definitely will attend again.

most reasonably priced Bikram Yoga studio in NYC. Excellent teachers. Great community -- socio-economically and culturally diverse. Music classes the second Friday of every month. Donation classes two times a week. Halloween a festive event at the studio. Great way to start the New Year with New Year's Eve class ending exactly at midnight. BYH rocks!
