Pilates Room Studios - Downtown

The Pilates Room Studios is so convenient with their multiple locations; this is one of the best features of membership. I had to run errands in downtown San Diego and I took a class at this location not only because of the convenience, but I also enjoy today's instructor (Merilee). The inside of the studio is open with adequate lighting with the large windows. There is also an option of two different types of reformers, so I utilized the one I was most comfortable with. The only con with this location is the parking. The area is great for dinning and shopping, but many tourists visit the area which can make the already limited parking even more challenging. The parking that is close to the studio is metered or a paid lot.

Their customer service or the system is really messed up. I purchased 3months program and actually I didn’t like it after I attend the first session. They told me they will give us the second month free but instead, kept charging me every month (it’s been 4th time already even though I signed up for only 3months). Plus, they weren’t able to open the studios due to pandemic and what ? You guys are charging me continuously?? Seriously? I don’t know what to say to be honest. Have you guys ever read their terms before you sign up ? It’s ridiculous and they are trying to protect themselves so hard. Sign up if you are really into Pilates but it wasn’t for me.

This is an awesome studio! The teachers have been very nice and welcoming and I love that the studio is clean and well kept. The classes are challenging but not impossible which is great. It's convenient since they have multiple locations. My favorite class is the power pilates class since I love that dumbbells are included, it makes it for a better workout! Great studio!

I am new to Pilates room studios and I aboslutely love it! Both the downtown and mission valley locations are great! There are a variety of classes to choose from and there are plenty of class times as well! So far all the instructors have been very knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend signing up!

This place has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have told the studio to freeze my membership for two months now and they refused to respond to me in a timely manner or get back to me and instead they just go ahead and charge my card when it's not supposed to be charged I don't know how many times I have to contact this place call them send them e-mails when you do email them five different people get back to you if they respond back to you but statements that don't apply to me or that I've already answered. A month ago I had told them I wanted to freeze my membership they charged my card. I let it go the first time because I didn't give them enough notice and I told him the day before this month they done the same thing and I gave them plenty of notice repeatedly over and over again that I wanted my membership freeze and I do not want my car to be charged because I won't be coming there temporarily now I'm just going to cancel you guys are so many great Pilates studios in San Diego that I've been going to instead please do not go to the studio their instructors are pretty good but it's not worth the customer service has so you have to deal with just read the previous review
