In Ayurveda, disease is viewed as an invitation to connect with the body’s inner wisdom and understand where we’re being called to make changes. Through my work as an Ayurvedic practitioner, I teach my clients how to incorporate practices their daily lives that support the specific needs of their unique genetic makeup and biochemistry.
The most rewarding part of my job is witnessing what each woman does with the time and energy that are freed up as her symptoms resolve. I’ve watched clients change careers, enroll in graduate programs, pursue new creative outlets, end unsatisfying relationships and take on leadership roles in their companies and communities. The ripple effects of feeling at home in your body are powerful. My interest in holistic women’s health was ignited by my own struggle with digestive and hormonal issues throughout my twenties and the lack of support I received from mainstream healthcare.
