About Lorie Bird
I have always been athletic, predominately running for the past 15 years. I initially added yoga as part of my marathon training. As my life shifted, so did my journey with yoga. A couple of years ago health issues turned my life upside down, from being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease to other health issues requiring multiple surgeries. Yoga was a constant that helped to keep my mind and body going, but also steady and calm. As my interest and passion continues with yoga, so does my desire to grow and learn more.
In addition, I have a background in physical therapy and am a certified running coach.
