Lucy Foster-Perkins

I’m Lucy. I teach Yoga, co-own The Pineapple House Bali (Bali is my current home) and push to spread awareness about ocean plastic whenever I can. On this site you'll find more information about me, my teaching, the online classes I've created and any retreats or workshops I'm holding.
In yoga we learn not to identify with the labels put on ourselves (e.g. I AM a yoga teacher, I AM an ex professional dancer etc). But if I waffled on about how "I am not my stories, I am light and we are all one", you might not get a sense of my experiences and values. So with that in mind, here we go. Hi! I'm Lucy!
Over the past 6 years I've taught in 7 countries and deepened my own practice with the guidance of various teachers and by listening to my own body, the greatest teacher of all. My travels have not only followed my yoga journey, but my search for waves and like-minded surf communities.
I teach Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. After experiencing Adrenal Fatigue in 2014 I soon (read; “I was forced to) discover Yin. “Yin” as a concept and Yin Yoga as a practice. I mostly teach this reflective and nourish practice now, as I find that most people who come to my classes and retreats are exhausted. Wherever I can, I help people come back to balance.
The Pineapple House Bali.
In early 2019 I moved back to Bali after 2 years in Australia. I had followed my heart to Australia, but that path was not meant to be trodden, so I returned to Bali. Little did I know that Rachel Fearnley, my soul sister here in Bali, had wanted to share her business The Pineapple House Bali, with me and I jumped at the change to become her business partner.
We run Surf, Yoga and Wellness retreats all year round in Bali and will run a Surf, Yoga & Sound Healing retreat in Portugal in June 2020.
