The classes are run in a friendly supportive environment with small class sizes so everyone gets the attention needed to succeed. Our goal is to get every client to achieve theirs and help them develop and understanding and love of the Pilates Method. Pilates Evolution Now works in conjunction with a number of Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists and other health professionals to ensure that all clients receive the most effective health and wellness benefits. – Pilates is a method of exercising the body in a balanced fashion – Pilates improves muscular and postural strength, flexibility, balance and body awareness – Pilates can be an aerobic and non-aerobic form of exercise. It requires concentration and focus because you move your body through precise ranges of motion – Each exercise has a prescribed placement, rhythm and breathing pattern – Your muscles are never worked to exhaustion – there is no sweating or straining. The workout consists of exercises that are performed in low repetitions over a session of 55 minutes – Our Pilates classes are taught to suit each person and exercises are regularly re-evaluated to ensure they are appropriate for that person. Due to the individual attention, Pilates can suit everybody from elite athletes to people with limited mobility, pregnancy and low fitness levels
