Losang Dragpa Kadampa Buddhist Centre

The Centre provides an opportunity for people to learn about meditation and the Buddhist way of life. We offer a full program of classes and events suitable for everyone.Losang Dragpa Kadampa Buddhist Centre is a non-profit organisation and is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union.Losang Dragpa Kadampa Buddhist Centre, a not for profit organisation, was established in October 2009. In April 2016 the Centre moved to 36 Texas St. Mayfield, five minutes drive from Newcastle CBD. The purpose of the Centre is to provide an opportunity for people to learn how to solve their daily problems and find lasting peace through integrating Buddha’s teachings into their everyday lives.

We hold meditation classes at Mayfield, New Lambton, East Maitland, Charlestown and Port Macquarie. In addition, we also provide a committed study program which is held at the Centre most Wednesdays and weekly chanted meditations. Everyone is welcome!

• In January 2013 Losang Dragpa Kadampa became an authorised provider of Special Religious Education classes (SRE) in NSW primary Schools.
