BIKRAM HOT YOGA Bikram Yoga is the original hot yoga, and Bikram Yoga Brisbane was the very first hot yoga studio in Brisbane. ​ Designed for beginners, the 90 minute Bikram yoga practice consists of 26 postures and two breathing exercises in a room heated to 38 degrees Celsius and 50% humidity. No prior experience is necessary- it is a practice for people of any age, size or condition.FLOW Flow is a Vinyasa style yoga session for participants of all levels. Focus is drawn toward movement and breath as you flow through postures designed to increase flexibility, strength and balance. The room is moderately heated during our Flow sessions. EXTEND Extend is a classic Bikram Yoga style class designed for those looking to take their traditional practice a step further. Advanced postures and variations to traditional postures will be offered throughout the class to encourage growth in your body. Different muscle and skeletal groups are targeted each class. ​ Bikram 65 is a modification to the traditional Bikram style yoga. The postures and hot room remain the same, but the sequence will keep you on your toes! This is an excellent way to fit your traditional practice into a busy day or provide your body some muscle confusion by altering the intensity levels generally exercised in the classic Bikram style. ​ BIKRAM 65 Hot Pilates Hot Pilates is a high intensity interval training, set to fun tunes that comÂbines carÂdio and musÂcle tonÂing in a heated room. Pilates prinÂciÂples helps sculpt your body, creÂatÂe long lean musÂcle mass, and enable you to build deeper core strength. The heat loosens up the musÂcles quickly, and the humidÂity makes you sweat — eleÂvatÂing your heart rate, boostÂing metabÂoÂlism, and proÂmotÂing detoxification. ​ YIN YOGA Yin is slow moving - postures are reached through deep breath and relaxation. The yoga works to release tension and move energy in the fascia, which surrounds our bones and muscles. This is a great way to relieve stress, take an active mediation or remediate a particular ailing portion of your body. Classes are for all participant levels. The room is warm but not heated.
