Dynamic Stability physiotherapy and clinical pilates studios in Richmond and Ripponlea were established in 2001 and since then has become one of Melbourne’s leaders in delivering the highest quality pilates services to its clients. Our physiotherapists, myotherapists, Chinese medicine therapists and acupuncturists work together as a team in order to provide comprehensive advice and hands-on therapies in all areas of musculoskeletal health. Whether you are recovering from injury, seeking better posture, need to improve stamina or increase bone density, our team can look after you. All pilates lessons are individually designed for you by our local Melbourne physiotherapists. We provide personal attention in all our Pilates classes, whether you would like to work in a private session with a dedicated physiotherapist, or in a small group of two, four or eight. Dynamic Stability About Dynamic Stability, our history and why we are the best in the business At Dynamic Stability, our philosophy is to provide the highest quality personalised services in Pilates, physiotherapy and rehabilitation. We can treat musculoskeletal and general injuries, as well as to assist in improving core and trunk stability and improve sporting performance and posture. We take an active approach to injury prevention and rehabilitation, and in the development and maintenance of your health and well-being. Since Dynamic Stability started in 2001, we have grown from a single studio to a large centre in Richmond, with two studios and a group fitness room for mat and Allegro (reformer) classes and treatment rooms for physiotherapy, myotherapy, Chinese medicine and skin therapy. More recently we have expanded our small Elwood studio into a much larger venue in Ripponlea. Dynamic Stability is the Melbourne host site and training centre for Polestar Pilates International, for which Darren is the principal educator. Each year twenty participants undertake a one-year certification course, an intensive training program that is recognised throughout more than thirty countries. The course is available to Pilates instructors and other rehabilitation professionals, including physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and physicians (sports medicine, orthopaedic, general practice, obstetrics and gynaecology). We provide Pilates with the highest level of supervision, offering one-on-one, one-on-two, one-on-four, and one-on-eight sessions and allowing our clients to choose exactly how much supervision they require. At the Richmond studio we have seventeen reformers, four trapeze tables, five Wunda chairs, two barrels, step barrels, baby arcs, foam rollers, rotator disks and many other props spaced out over three Pilates beautiful rooms as well as five separate consulting rooms. Our Ripponlea studio has four reformers, two trapeze tables, a Wunda chair, barrel and Power Plate machine and two private consulting rooms. Both studios offer real-time diagnostic ultrasound, which is a valuable tool in assessing abdominal and pelvic muscle control. As well as caring for physical health, our goal at Dynamic Stability is to provide our clients with the best opportunity to achieve an overall sense of well-being. Many persistent muscle and joint pains can be traced back to an internal imbalance and we can provide a coordinated and integrated approach to helping you achieve a feeling of wellness you have probably forgotten it was possible to feel. Our Chinese medicine therapist is on hand to assess your inner health and treat any imbalances in your body’s systems with acupuncture and herbal medicine. Our physiotherapists, Pilates instructors, myotherapists, lomi lomi (Hawaiian massage) practitioners and Chinese medicine therapists can provide a coordinated response to all of your concerns and are committed to helping you achieve your desired results.
