MPPFG BACKGROUND & FOUNDATIONS In 1992, Greg Cunningham, sole owner of Windsor Spinal and Sport Physiotherapy Centre, was joined by colleagues Wendy Braybon, Chris Constantinou and recently retired partner Jane Banting to form a partnership. Their vision was to deliver the highest standard of care that was commensurate with their post-graduate training. The partnership quickly developed a reputation for standards that met the needs of elite athletes and leading medical specialists. A number of successful affiliations include the Australian Olympic Team, AFL (VFL) clubs Footscray and Melbourne, National Soccer League team South Melbourne Hellas including Socceroo duties, State and National Softball Teams and a number of leading school and amateur sporting teams and individual athletes. In 1999, the practice was renamed The Melbourne Physiotherapy Group. The practice has grown in this time and has since become Melbourne Physiotherapy Pilates and Fitness Group, relocated to Fitzroy Street, St Kilda. In addition to Physiotherapy, the new state of the art facility provides Clinical Pilates, Exercise Physiology, Athletic Development Coaching and Massage services. Greg, Chris and Wendy understand the needs of the patients they deal with, be they an elite, aspiring or greying athlete, “weekend warrior”, C.E.O, or busy mother. The need to lead an active life and be your best resonates strongly with the personality of the directors and the competitive environment of today’s busy world – on and off the sporting field!
