Why Pilates? Pilates particularly strengthens the entire trunk, the body center and is precisely because of a weakness in this area very recommendable. The joints are spared, it is trained with own body weight. Pilates improves body posture by raising the spine and lowering the shoulders. The musculature is built up evenly, because the tension of the entire body is worked. Already after a few weeks a clear difference in the body perception can be felt. Long unnoticed muscles are already noticeable after a short time. Individual exercises improve body coordination. Pilates is basically a good base for every athlete. More and more top athletes are using Pilates in their training program - surfers, triathletes - a strong hull is of great importance in many sports, but unfortunately it is mostly neglected during training! Pilates is completely independent of age and precisely because it is so varied, can also be executed for ALL. Even after a long sporting pause, an entrance into a Pilatestraining is possible. What is yin yoga? I personally find yin yoga creates a wonderful balance to the tension and strength (yang) in the pilates, fitness studio etc. and also to our daily requirements! And what I especially like about it is that there are no rigid rules or regulations in Yin Yoga! It is not about being 100% perfect and exactly aligned, but on the fact that every single one - we are quite different, inside and outside! - in such a way that the respective tissue and / or joint is stimulated and at the same time the muscles can be left loose. The tissue, the fascia is / are stimulated - according to our own experience dissolve by the long holding of the asanas tensions, emotions, adhesions of the faszien and also the back gladly over the long holding! We all take on so many roles in life and sometimes get rid of ourselves in the everyday life because of the lack of time and attention. Yin Yoga gives space again! In this passive yoga practice, resting, stillness, looking, feeling and letting go in the foreground. In these hours you will not be ascribed as in my Pilates units, but it will be quiet and give plenty of space for your own thoughts and body perception! The asanas are mainly practiced in sitting and lying down. It is about letting go of all effort and not wanting not to work on the Asanas. The asanas are held between 3 and 5 minutes - or even longer. In the background quiet music or even quite quiet. Any auxiliaries, such as pillows,
