The real deal. Shiva Shankara Ipanema has a deep connection with India and provides true yoga teachings for the students. Teachers pay close attention to each and every student delivering a very customized approach. Always clean and with friendly staff.

An amazing yoga studio for those who want to deepen their practice in a mindful way. I'm preparing for getting my yoga certification training and this place is perfect. Classes are long, small amount of students per class and the teachers practice yoga with the traditional philosophies. Great place to het away from the Rio madness ;) highly recommended for intermediate or advanced levels. Staff is great and the energy is very positive.

I have nothing to complain about the service via WhatsApp or the space, which has great energy. Nor can I comment on the knowledge of the teacher, who certainly must have studied and perfected her practice for years. But it lacks didactics, patience and warmth. I went to take an experimental class and did not feel welcomed at all. Generally, when yoga practices are challenging, they are real challenges that we accept until the end. In this class, as soon as the class started, what I wanted most was to leave. And so I did!

Thank you to this school that teaches me so much, challenges me and makes me believe that between the real and the ideal there is the possible. A school distinguished by the seriousness with which it transmits its knowledge and which, in a sensitive and welcoming way, teaches us the essence of the yogic philosophy.

Studio Shiva Shankara is a space of unique physical and spiritual energy. Both for the knowledge and technique of its teachers, but also for the delivery and dedication of each one of them in the details, in the adjustments, in the guidelines.
