MokSana Yoga Center offers drop-in yoga classes in a variety of traditional styles and levels (from restorative to advanced) in a safe and nurturing environment where students can explore body, breath, mind and spirit. We also have gently heated yogahour® classes which are challenging sequences that aim to be the most doable yet difficult one-hour flow class offered anywhere. As well we offer workshops and a longstanding yoga teacher training program taught by highly qualified, experienced and dedicated yoga instructors. Every service and product we offer is designed to inspire and support people on their yogic path.
MokSana Yoga Center was founded in December 2001 with a mandate to provide inspiring, safe yoga classes in a variety of styles. The center is located in Victoria, BC, and offers a certified comprehensive 250-hour Yoga Teacher Training course, as well as continuing education workshops for yoga teachers and students.
At this facility, freedom – or moksha – is experienced through the practices of traditional and contemporary approaches to yoga, meditation, and holistic health. The studio is located in Fan Tan Alley in Victoria’s historic chinatown. With its high open ceilings, natural light, and peaceful atmosphere, MokSana is a wonderful place to experience the vital connection of body, breath, mind, and spirit.
MokSana is committed to providing a safe and welcoming space for all people regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, profession, nationality, disability or religion. Yoga means union and the practice of yogic techniques help us to connect to the part of us that transcends these labels, ultimately leaving us with a deeper appreciation of each other’s “essenceâ€. Please note that while the single occupant change rooms within our studio are not gender specific, the washrooms in our building currently are, but that may change in the future. The studio is wheelchair accessible through Fan Tan Alley.
