There is 1 day off per week (a total of 3 during the program). Meals are not provided on days off. Yogis do have access to a kitchen at all times and there are several inexpensive restaurant options nearby.

Because of the high demand for our yoga certification programs, once accepted we will ask you to put down a non-refundable deposit in order to save your spot. Our training is always full so we cannot hold your space without a deposit.
Please note, we are NOT offering refunds if students test positive for COVID-19 or are required to isolate because of exposure to the virus. If your travel plans are altered or delayed because of your own exposure to the virus, you will not get a refund. We WILL offer a full refund if your country goes in to lockdown BEFORE the training start date or if flights from your country or to the SJO or LIR airports are grounded.

The retreat center is gorgeous, secure, and truly an experience of paradise. Each bungalow has two bedrooms (four on the property) with two twin beds in one room and a queen in the other. There is a shared bathroom, kitchen, and living room. The property is also complete with two yoga shalas. Other highlights of the place also have infinity pools and are two minutes walk to the ocean.
Yoga Academy International offers nourishing, delicious, and healthy cuisine. Their gourmet meal plan always impresses and is included in the tuition of your training. They source local ingredients, use local chefs, and at all of the residential yoga teacher training, meals and stay are always included.
Please book your flight to arrive at San Jose International Airport (SJO) or Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR). Then take a short flight to the Tambor Domestic Airport (TMU) and a 45-minute drive to Santa Teresa.
There are shuttle service companies that may transfer you directly from your departure location to the doorstep of the accommodation.
Taxis from Tambor to Santa Teresa are available. The price is about 45 USD.
