Pranamar Oceanfront Villas And Yoga Retreat

Second time at Pranamar, for the surf and yoga package. Getting to Santa Teresa is a haul, but the tranquility of the resort and the kindness of the staff, the serenity of the yoga and challenge of the surf, made it worth the commute from the States. The food is awesome too, and already I miss the GF banana pancakes and Surfer’s Prana Smoothies. This is a wonderful, non-commercialized, luxurious retreat.

We arrived in the middle of a horrendous downpour. The staff was incredibly nice and apologetic about our drive. Our villa was gorgeous, the stone tub was everything I hoped for! We had some electric issues from the start. One fan and a couple lights didn’t work, but nothing that distracted from the experience. The first night we lost power for a bit in the middle of the night. Going into the third night, we lost power again at the start of a short electrical storm. After we realized most of the rest of the place had electricity, we checked in with the office and were promptly moved into a new villa. I was sad to leave the tub behind, but our new accommodations are an appreciated upgrade, and all the fans and lights work! ????????z.
