Yoga is a very important part of the detox process because as toxins make their way out of the body you need to move and stretch the body to really release. The tissue will hold toxins and memories and stress from past events. As we do Yoga we go beyond these deposits and remove blocks. The blocks belong to your past, and not to your future. As you release these blocks through Yoga you will detox the body fully. Yoga is the key that is missing in most of the detox programs. In India Yoga is part of any cleansing and is an intricate part of Ayurveda - the wisdom of life and health.
Here at the Waterfall Villas, we teach a very gentle Yoga that can be extended for advanced practitioners. In the warm-up to a Kundalini Kriya, we will do mostly Vinyasa or Art of Living Yoga which is specific for detoxing the body and moving out blockages. Then we will work with a Kundalini Kriya to deepen our awareness of the body and bring a lot of oxygen to the blood with pranayamas. This way of doing Yoga is very effective and works for any level of practitioner.
In the traditional Balinese style, your shower opens up into your own walled tropical garden, where there is a goddess statue and a fish pond. Here you can sit in privacy on a dragonfly mosaic bench, enjoy the mystical, tropical birds, and feel the waterfall's energy while looking into a transparent tropical angelfish pond-aquarium for zen contemplation. Designed with authentic Feng Shui elements, this space is the closest to the rare vortex energy found whirling like a dervish between ancient trees that are home to Kinkajou and rare forest owls.
You will be accommodated at Waterfall Villas. There are two accommodation possibilities available, as private single rooms or private double rooms. For single participants, the accommodation will be in the Goddess Suite, while the double occupancy will be provided in the Jacuzzi Suite. Both suites are located in the Jade Spa Villa.
Secluded and serene, the Jade Spa Villa is reached by a staircase lit by Balinese lanterns. Protected like the most sacred temple and sheltered from the world by immense ancient trees that lean across the top of the waterfalls, this sacred space has been created for you to share a magical experience in the Baru Rainforest.

Next to the waterfalls, in the heart of the Baru Rainforest, you will have your own rain forest spa garden for detox, relaxation, and rejuvenation. In the traditional Balinese style, your glass shower door opens up into your jade spa garden with a full, professional four-person Vita Spa Jacuzzi with super high-powered jets. Revive yourself as you look out into the exotic lush rain forest. In a separate open-air orchid garden area with a wall of Costa Rican jade rock, your massage treatments will relieve your stress just like the morning mist.
A favorite tree of the Toucans hangs into the spa garden just above the spa Jacuzzi. Gardens are adorned with volcanic rock statues carved on the island of Bali, and the rock walls are covered with exotic orchids, ferns, and other brilliantly colored flowers. The Jade Spa Villa has a magnificent long balcony set high in the canopy for incredible views of nature.

During this retreat, you will be provided with three daily meals included in the price. The meals can be raw, vegan, or a mix. Your menu will be personalized depending on your needs and goals, using macrobiotics / Ayurveda or a raw vegan detox diet, with organic ingredients. No chemical additives, sugar, or gluten will be added to the food. You can also opt for a juice fasting cleansing program.
The drinks provided include fresh green coconut water daily, noni or green drink as per availability, together with freshly brewed detox teas, locally made from a herbal mixture, and two green drinks made of primarily organic kale per day.
The meals are specially crafted and include exotic fruit plates, tofu scrambles, fresh-made granolas, chia seed porridge, and fresh coconut cream as healthy breakfast alternatives. If you are only fasting on green juice with no meals you can have up to eight green juices per day. Green coconuts, fresh noni, and smoothies may be served at other times in between meals if not drinking green drinks. Detox tea is included in the afternoons.

If you would like a private luxury transfer from the San Jose airport it is 400 USD round trip / USD 200 each way additional for 1 person, at any time 24x7 (after 7pm and before 6am 20 USD surcharge). Waterfall Villas organize the private transfers for you and your driver will pick you up at the airport - he will be holding a sign with your name and the Waterfall Villas.

Your private driver will have a sign with your name and the Waterfall Villas. He will be waiting just outside of the customs area - outside of the building - but do not cross the street. Waterfall Villas will confirm the name of the driver the day before. Please pay him directly the 200 USD in cash each way on arrival to your destination.
