Well maintained, clean facility. Rooms are friendly and practical, it's quiet, the café on the ground floor offers great food. Community law offers many opportunities for cooking. It is only a 50-minute walk to the Olympic Stadium/Waldbühne. The train takes you quickly from the main station to the accommodation. Just great.

Super nice employees. They are hospitable, helpful and understanding. We had very nice room. Everything was immaculate! (Not just the room) Underfloor heating in the bathroom 😍 we were happy and grateful that we found Dharma Mati. Next time we will stay longer!!

Wonderful place for a break, especially at lunchtime. 12-4 p.m. Café with tasty lunch (vegetarian & partly vegan) and delicious cake. All home cooked/baked. In summer, tables and benches under old trees. And if you are traveling with children, there is a beautiful big golden Buddha to admire in the shrine hall and even a playground is just behind the building. So you can (with a friend) drink coffee / tea while keeping an eye on the kids. So everyone is happy.
Speaking of "happiness" - according to the actual purpose of the house, there is of course always the opportunity for meditation, seminars, retreats and lectures on Buddhist topics and topics of everyday life (stress, happiness & well-being, joy & sorrow...). These are held by Buddhist teachers, some of whom are very well known and valued. This place is open to ALL - people of all religions or not belonging to anyone.

Really really good! For beginners as well as for advanced, for the first taster as well as for a deepening of the already existing practice. Also a nice little shop...
Or just for coffee and cake in the Lotus Lounge...😏

The Buddhist center rents out guest rooms on a nightly basis, which are on a corridor with residents' rooms.
The scent of incense that creeps through the room doors takes some getting used to, as does the sometimes quite intense singing. But those who would like to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a "German-Tibetan monastery" will certainly feel at home in the Dharma Mati. The rooms are spacious and bright, simply decorated in red and white and each has a kettle and a selection of tea bags. A well-equipped guest kitchen is located separately.
Various meditations are offered at certain times.
