Best yoga class I’ve done in Berlin. Intimate and beautiful spot. Authentic Ashtanga practice, fantastic instruction in both German and English, with adjustments. Class begun and ended with great grounding. Blissful yoga experience.

What a beautiful little yoga studio!!! Hidden in the side streets of Charlottenburg (I had a bit of trouble finding it) but once I was there, the warm & friendly atmosphere immediately won me over. I felt very comfortable and in good hands. Thank you !!!! An absolute insider tip!

A place of rest and relaxation! I have rarely seen such a great yoga studio. I have been suffering from severe back pain due to an accident for 7 years. No doctor could help me. But regular yoga practice in the Sita Tara studio relieves my tension and gives me a good body feeling again!
My wonderful yoga practice
Entering Yoga Studio Sita Tara conveys a warm "Welcome to Yoga". Firusa herself usually greets you with a loving hug, as if you were a family member. Firusa is a very special, energetic and happy person. She enters the room and it fills with a powerful yoga atmosphere. Few people I know have this gift.
The yoga class begins with a stimulating meditation that takes you to strange places inside and outside of your body. I connect to earth and sky. Mother Earth carries my body. Gentle warm-up exercises loosen the strained muscles and get you in the mood for the upcoming practice. I particularly like the question here: "How am I doing before the practice?". Deep conscious breathing releases the first tensions. The first sun salutations and Hatha Yoga exercises specially interpreted by Firusa begin. Appropriate music and sounds accompany the exercises. One experiences it true yoga event. Miraculously, Firusa always finds exactly the right exercises. She walks around and touches you with her healing hands to support the yoga practice. Yoga practice often creates a communal atmosphere, energies are released and a gentle tingling sensation flows through the body. The breathing exercises, the mixture of tension and relaxation and the musical accompaniment invigorate muscles, body and mind. I have never experienced a child position as so energetic! The oxygen-enriched blood flows from the head to the tips of the limbs. You feel warm, strong and in good hands. Firusa encourages you to test your limits, but not to go beyond them. My personal highlight is the supported headstand. The icing on the cake of the intensive yoga practice that brings you into the here and now. Well stretched, spiritually nourished and full of energy, one comes to rest in Shavasana. Here you can relax completely and meditate on the point between your eyebrows. Firusa lays the Shavasana hands on you and you experience a pleasant little massage with a matching scent. Another highlight of the practice! Then a common "Om" connects the group. A final highlight is the gong played by Firusa. It hangs majestically in the wall like an altar and illuminates space and spirit. I am one with the universe and the universe is one with me. Namaste universe. Namaste Firusa. As always, it was incredibly beautiful. I'm asking myself again, "How am I doing?" I'm doing very well. I am mentally balanced, focused and relaxed, ready to get back into my daily routine and take a little yoga with me wherever I go. I thank myself for taking the time for this wonderful yoga practice. Namaste myself!

Last week I did a yoga class at Sita Tara - not 60 minutes, as is so often offered in the gym at the moment - but 90 minutes. - and indeed I felt "like in paradise" afterwards. It was like MAGIC...... This effect surprised me because I often do shorter yoga sequences with myself.
A very special place

I love SITA TARA, when I come here and teach it feels like a second home. These spaces feel so safe, familiar, peaceful and healing. A very special place - comparable to no other yoga studio in Berlin. Peace, being, joy and openness can be felt here as soon as you enter. I'm so grateful to be part of the SITA TARA community 🙏🏻 Here's to more great encounters, yoga classes, fairs and yoga training. Sat Nam Britta
