Spirit Yoga Charlottenburg Goethestraße Berlin - Balanceboat is a business in Yoga Studio category. The Yoga Studio is located at Goethestraße 2-3, 10623 Berlin, Germany
As I am for my travel guides BertaBerlin by Walkthisway.berlin (www.walk-this-way.net) and in this case my YogaBerlin map always looking for the hidden gems in Berlin, I visited this place. Developed by Patricia Thielemann, Spirit Yoga offers over 100 Yoga and Pilates classes. The first studio opened in Mitte in 2004, and since has taught a modern mix of dynamic and vinyasa flow yoga in Berlin. Spirit Yoga is yoga without Indian nostalgia: modern and European, which empowers you to meet the challenges of everyday life. Spirit Yoga is taught with clear structure, a positive attitude and with soul. As creator of this Yoga culture Patricia is known as "The Jil Sander of Yoga." Special focus is given to pre- and postnatal yoga. If you are new to the studio, you can buy three intro tickets for 25 Euro. Most classes are taught in German, but you can let the teacher know if you need instruction in English.

On my last visit I bought myself a 3 card since the studio is near where I work.
I have to say it was really worth it, great teachers, great atmosphere and tea and fruit after every lesson!! 🙂
I would love to come back!!

I absolutely cannot confirm much of the negative feedback. Teachers are very attentive, relaxed and understanding. Full classes still work great when everyone is a little bit of a finesse. Exercises are the perfect mix of relaxation and action. Everyone can decide for themselves how far they want to go and where they are in the moment. There are always alternatives offered. The atmosphere is great, everything is ideal. I have already tried many studios and I have to say: Spirit is simply the best in all aspects!

I have been to all three studios in the meantime, a great atmosphere and, above all, an inspiring lesson.
There are certainly teachers who don't hit the point, but definitely exceptional and profound with Patricia, but Lisa and Bettina are also great.

I was immensely disappointed, it was a recommendation, which is why I immediately convinced my friend to take the trial subscription.
The participants are hardly addressed, I found the beginner course quite fast myself, although I have yoga experience (unlike my friend). But the 3rd time was the bomb: I told the yoga instructor that I just had a back blockage that has been fixed by physical therapy and therefore I can't do all the exercises. She gave me a hint or two that I followed. Yet I felt a stabbing pain in the middle of the course and cried. First she didn't perceive me or ignore me at all (even as my boyfriend helped me) and then when we walked to the edge she just shrugged her shoulders so we left. From a professional studio, I expect teachers to warn and especially take 2 minutes to address a participant's pain when mentioning complaints about exercises that can cause pain, instead of just continuing to stay in the program and ignoring them. Absolute no go. In my opinion, no trace of the so advertised yoga "spirit".
