By far my favorite yoga studio in Berlin. Really nice atmosphere and lots of different types of teachers. You just need to go to enough classes to find the teachers who are the "right fit" for you and your yoga practice.

I have practiced yoga in YFD around 10-15 times (only on-site classes). The studio is beautiful and everything well maintained. What I find full of problems is that instructors do parallel online and offline class. I felt that because of this there was no enough focus on advancement and checking whether people do the asanas right. So I signed out, but still think it’s a nice studio, I just dislike the double presence that makes the instructor stay in the camera place and does not walk around to help us with the positions, or does that very rarely, (maybe it was also my end of corona experience).

The studio itself is nice. I only attended one course there and unfortunately I won't be coming back. The teacher kept joking around during the yoga class, so I had trouble relaxing. In addition, she "jokingly" commented on every action that deviated from her specifications, which for me was more of a form of exposure. Towards the end she asked me that as a beginner I should rather sit back in the middle and not in front. I came to the course feeling good and left feeling bad.
However, the teacher seems to be very professional and knowledgeable in the field, but that's not enough for me.2

Lovingly furnished yoga studio!
We took part in a special workshop today and it was an entertaining and very informative hour. There was also an empathetic teacher, many exercises for everyday life and a cup of tea. Thank you very much for that! :-)

I always visit the YFD Studio in Schöneberg when I'm in Berlin. I like the relaxed atmosphere and the large, bright room with lots of plants. There is tea, small snacks and even hair ties ;). The yoga classes are varied and well designed. I like powerful flows that challenge me while creating calm and focus. That's exactly what I find here. My favorites are the classes with Friedrich and Victor. But all the other teachers also teach very enjoyable lessons. I'm looking forward to being here again soon <3
