Yogatribe Berlin Mitte

An opportunity to become a member of Yours (Abonnement) is life changing. Being depressed not once and lockdowns took it's toll. It might sounds familiar to some, as it is one of current civilization problems. Studying intensely in isolation and having a physical and emotional job leads to burnout and stress and abyss of internets social media. Since the first day of joining yoga classes, breath came back with stretching and stress regulation followed. There came the calmness feeling- that there is a nice place available to visit and practice almost anytime, even everyday. Sounds like a foundation for practice and simply being. One can hear concentration and intention in teachers’ voice. Flows smoothly with time and breath. It is just the beginning, but the practice can be only in nowness, now.

One of my favourite studios here in Berlin in a beautiful, net and warm location in the heart of the city. Although I didn't take classes with all teachers yet respectively I find them all super professional and just awesome. All the yoga practices I enjoy a lot thanks to the great team of very professional yoga teacher. Thank you very much. Macht weiter so!

Took a community class with Tala that was absolutely wonderful and had me curious to explore more of this beautiful studio's classes :) Then took a Level 2 "Mondays are the New Black" class with Daan that did the exact opposite :( I wish the class description had been more accurate and given more of an idea of what to expect. Coming to class expecting yoga and then being presented with 90min of whatever that was (not to mention paying 17€ for it) is mildly annoying - but also easily avoidable. I tried to address the discrepancy I felt between description and class practice with the teacher afterwards, only to get an arrogant "well what really even IS yoga these days...?". Well cool, sure and whatever... doubt I'll return anytime soon to figure that out though.
