Founded by Pundit Radheshyam Mishra in the year 1996, YogaLife Global, (formerly known as Ujjain Yoga Life Society or UYLS) is an organisation committed to promote Indian Classical Yoga around the world through training & teachings, research and publications. This organisation is registered with Income Tax act 80G for tax exemption and Foreign Currency Regulation Act of Ministry of Home, Government of India for receiving donations from outside India. We are also a non profit organisation in USA as YogaLife USA Inc. under 501(c) and in Brazil as Satyadhara YogaLife Ashram. We are also known for the way we teach- scientific approach in modern way.
We at YogaLife Global have enduringly believed that a place like us can exist that is totally dedicated to Yogic lifestyle, personal growth and the upliftment of each and every individual through Yogic efforts. A place which emphasises on Yoga as a Way of Life, which can also work as therapy and thus helps to educate people about, living healthily and embodies all that is essential for one to know of its body from inside and maintain good health.
The internationally recognized Yoga Guru, Pundit Ji began teaching yoga in early 90’s. An exemplary pass-out of the world’s oldest yoga organization The Yoga Institute, Santacruz, Mumbai, over the years he has developed a differential method of Classical Yoga with Modern Approach, which he continues to refine each day. Today, his unique method is practiced by thousands around the world, with more than 2,500 his trained teachers in 51 countries across the globe.
In 2010 YogaLife came into its being and became a reality as a well organised Yoga centre in Central India (Madhya Pradesh). In 2012 we opened our first branch in Rockville MD, USA, known as YogaLife USA Inc and continued with two more branch opening in New Jersey and California. Today there are more than thousands of Pundit Ji’s students teaching practicing Yoga all over the world and we have 240+ branch/affiliated centers around the world.
YogaLife Global has a universal and deeper vision to spread Classical Yoga and its existence in original form. With continuous efforts towards spreading Yoga awareness, YogaLife Global has brought laurels to itself and country from all over the globe by organising International Yoga Seminar in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and in 2016. Pundit Radheshyam Mishra, Founder Director of YogaLife Global (formerly known as Ujjain Yoga Life Society or UYLS) is admired for his notable contribution in teaching Traditional Classical Yoga across the world since 1993. He has a teaching experience with half a million people in more than 51 countries.
A man with profound inclination to serve mankind and humanity, at the age of 14 years, started his voyage and went to various places and Gurus in search of a true path in life. He has spent his initial years studying various traditions & cultures of India from various renowned Masters – classical music Tabla & Flute from Pt. Lalit Mahant, Pt Malhar Rao Kulkurni, Indian Ritual Traditions Karmakand from Pt Jagdeesh C Bhatt, Astrology and Ayurveda from Kesharimal Vaidya and Tantra traditions from Umesh Bhatt.
At a young age, Pundit Mishra realised that, he is suffering from asthma but his immaturity and ignorance never made him vigilant about the condition until it developed into a chronic disease in a decade time. As he turned 23, doctors claimed ‘he can’t be cured and is not going to survive more than 3 months’. He became very upset and helpless, losing hope for life day by day… that’s when Pundit Ji had a miraculous experience. A Hindu Sanyasi (Monk) entered into his life introducing himself as Brahmachari Krishna Chaitanya. Looking at the grievous condition, he urged Pundit Ji to perform yoga under his guidance and his life would be rescued. In that anxious and depressed situation, he followed whatever tough training was given by the Brahmachari and within 6 weeks of Hatha yoga training, he realised that he is essentially out of the symptoms of Asthma. His body weight reached to 54kgs from 48kgs and now he is able to eat perfectly, work effectively and was so intrigued to learn everything about yoga, and unexpectedly the monk mentioned that he has to depart and will return soon. Although, he never did arrive back nor was he found again till date.
His systematic training in the science of Yoga started in 1993 at The Yoga Institute, Santacruz Mumbai under the guidance of his true guru, a living Yogi Dr Jayadeva Yogendra and his soulmate Dr Hansa Ji Yogendra. Pundit Ji completed his graduation in 1994 and processed to conduct Yoga training for various groups around the globe. He taught Yoga in many schools, hospitals, Police groups along with conducting workshops for the corporate world & trained many executives of renowned multinational companies.
Through his unending soul-searching quest, he then decided to devote his entire life to promote Yoga in India and around the world and soon became a renowned International Yoga Guru. With a greater vision to uplift the society and to nurture its great potential in the field of Yoga, he established “YogaLife Global” in 1996 and has since traveled around the globe teaching, sharing and expediting his knowledge in the field of Yoga and holistic health. He has conducts teachers training programs and has established over 240 centers around the world.
Pundit Ji always desires of giving back to the society what he has received from his extraordinary Gurus of great lineage of Yoga and thus made remarkable contributions for the world by authoring six books on Yoga; released a world popular video DVD “24 Minutes Yoga for 24 Hours of Energy” along with an audio CD on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras known as “Pantanjal Yoga Darshanam”, making the great philosophy of Yoga easy for a layman to understand.
Additionally, he has been honoured with many awards and recognition from the Government of India. He has also been a member of Yoga expert committee for Yoga in Higher Education, nominated by Minister of Human Resource & Development for making policies and syllabus of Yoga in Universities & Colleges in India. He was also awarded with Ph D in Vedik Yoga from Y S University, Florida, USA.
Stay under the canopy of this two acre coconut grove in one of twenty two back-to-nature cabanas. No two cabanas are alike. Fashioned from local materials like rice straw, and bamboo, the cabanas are built to include trees, leaves, and to let you see the moon and star-fllled skies. The living areas combine a rural feel with a surprising degree of comfort.
Located on Colomb bay which is just between Palolem beach and Patnem beach, both are just few min walk. All cottages are located on the hill, away from the noise, where you can have relaxed stay. All cottages are ocean and sunset view unique location on the hill, fantastic scenic view, serene atmosphere, unbelievable sunset gazing point.
Food is one very important aspect in the Yogic Life Style. Right quality and quantity of food along with proper eating time not only keeps the people alive, it also keeps free from all physical disorders and enhances their energy level. In this course, we provide light, freshly prepared and easily digestible diet with all required macronutrients like Proteins, Carbohydrates, Fats; micronutrients like Vitamins, Minerals and other essential components of food like Roughage and Water to meet all requirements of our body. It is completely Vegetarian and Vegan food.
Our restaurant is set underneath swaying coconut trees above Colomb village, at the south end of Palolem beach. The restaurant is primarily vegetarian, although it also offers a good range of vegan, and separately cooked fresh fish. It is open all day until late serving wholesome, and whenever possible, organically produced food and drinks for visitors and staying guests alike.
Fresh, local, seasonal food is always chosen and carefully cleaned and prepared to produce the menu items, and where possible food is gluten free, and definitely GM free. Daily specials are available offering a range of dishes to cater to customers of all tastes and health requirements.
The juice bar offers the most extensive range of juices, (organic wherever available) in the area. We do our best to offer innovative, genuine, wholesome, healthy and tasty food throughout the day. Last orders are normally around 10 pm.
