Anandan is an internationally certified (ERYT500) Yoga Master Acharya by Sivananda Ashram & (ERYT200) Ashtanga Yoga Teacher at World Peace of Yoga School in Rishikesh Yoga & Naturopathy Diploma from International Yoga Academy Asana Andiappan college of yoga who has practiced yoga for 6 years in Indonesia, Nepal, Sri Lanka and India. Acknowledging and listening to my body, and specifically what it needs each day, is so important physically and mentally. I am born and raised in Kovalam beach in a fisherman family, learning the spiritual path from the sea and finding my passion in Yoga in an early age. Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self. It is confusing, scary, calming, relaxing, and powerful all at the same time. But what is so amazing about it, is that it can be whatever you want it to be. Depending on your mood, what you are searching for that day, your practice will shift. Yoga has taught me to listen to my body, become fearless on my mat & honest in my heart. It is a safe place to show up exactly as you are. Slow steady deep breaths in, long full calm breaths out. Let’s continue this journey. Laura is an Architect turning into Yoga to promote the ancient Indian art of Yoga. Calm and peace will be the energy that she projects. She enjoys imparting yogic knowledge to people, making them understand the significance of yoga and how it influences the mind, body and soul. Her classes are dynamic and with a salty flow! Laura is being on the path of yoga since 6 years, learning from different disciplines as Ashtanga, Hatha, Kundalini and Anusara, founding her path on the traditional Hatha Yoga, she is being trained with a Swami from Bihar School of Yoga The word Samudra, in essence, means gathering together of waters, unity. We host, organise and curate holistic retreats, workshops and off/on line sessions, where wellness, nature, learning and community intersect. Most retreats are centred on the subjects of Yoga and Ayurveda. Our mission is to create or curate safe spaces where you can seed ideas, nurture them to grow, learn from a collaborative community experience, kick-start your healing and wellness journey. Through healing, yoga, co-learning, experiences and spaces, both transient and permanent, on or off the grid, we are building a vibrant, high vibrational community.
