Om Yoga Ashram is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Rashpal Yogi, The focus of Om Yoga Ashram is on laying a firm foundation of yogic insights rooted in ancient wisdom, in the hearts and minds of all who come. The teaching style is traditional knowledge and modern methodologies.
It is registered under the Indian Government. Situated in Dharamsala, a small town called Dal Lake in the lap of Himalayas, it offers a unique platform to learn yoga and meditation amidst Devdar tree surroundings.
Om Yoga Ashram is near Dal Lake 2 km from the quaint international epicenter of McLeod Ganj Dharamsala, where the main Temple of H.H. the Dalai Lama attracts people from all over the world. The Om Yoga Ashram is surrounded by the magnificent natural beauty with green rolling hills, majestic trees, and an adjacent stream. Magnificent views over Dal Lake and the Kangra Valley complete the experience. This setting offers a peaceful and inspiring place to learn and practice yoga Meditation. The sound of the river and birds singing, with the sun shining through green leaves allows one to Yoga retreat from worldly cares and go deeper into the study and practice of yoga and meditation. Although the Om Yoga Ashram offers an opportunity for a Yoga retreat, it also provides all modern amenities including wi-fi. After productive, full days immersed in all aspects of comprehensive, spiritual yoga, evenings will be relaxing, fun and enriching. The word Kundalini is a familiar one to all students of Yoga, as it is well known as the power, in the form of a coiled serpent, residing in Muladhara Chakra, the first of the seven Chakras, the other six being Svadhishthana, Manipuraka, Anahata, Visuddha, Ajna and Sahasrara, in order.
All Sadhanas in the form of Japa, meditation, Kirtan and prayer as well as all development of virtues, and observance of austerities like truth, non-violence and continence are at best calculated only to awaken this serpent-power and make it pass through all the succeeding Chakras beginning from Svadhishthana to Sahasrara, the latter otherwise called as the thousand-petalled lotus, the seat of Sadasiva or the Parabrahman or the Absolute separated from whom the Kundalini or the Kundalini Shakti lies at the Muladhara, and to unite with whom the Kundalini passes through all the Chakras, as explained above, conferring liberation on the aspirant who assiduously practices Kundalini Yoga or the technique of uniting her with her Lord and gets success also in his effort.

During our yoga teacher training courses Dharamsala, we provide our Yoga students with clean rooms, bedding and attached western style toilets with hot & cold water. We are glad to say that now we have the 2nd Floor in a Yoga ashram for our Yoga Teacher Training students. Hence, from now onward none of our Yoga students would have to stay in hotel infect everyone would stay in Yoga ashram which is facilitated with spacious 15 Room Waterfall & Mountain view rooms and is just neighbor the banks of Waterfall. Thus, each Yoga student can now have the privilege to feel the energy of Nature bliss.
For the teacher training and retreats, you will be served three healthy and delicious vegetarian meals per day, fruit refreshments, and green tea. You will also be provided with unlimited purified water.

Buses of all classes (deluxe, air-conditioned, and regular) ply daily between Dharamshala and major cities such as Chandigarh, Delhi, and Shimla. Several buses each night connect McLeodGanj with Majnu Ka Tila, the Tibetan settlement in Delhi.
To reach Dharamshala by train, one has to reach Kangra, Himachal Pradesh Town by Kangra Valley Railway line from Pathankot 94 kilometers away and then take a bus or a taxi. Pathankot is a broad gauge railway head.
There is another railway line from Pathankot to Jogindernagar, a part of the Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh, which is a narrow-gauge line. The nearest station to Dharamshala on this line is Chamunda Marg, half an hour away, where a Shaktipitha is. The town is well connected by road to other parts of the country.
