How a small seed becomes a large tree? One cannot see fruits or tree in the poor shaped seed! One such small seed was sow in1966 by Swami Shri Paramanand ji who started first charitable school in a poor, remote rural area of Fatehpur, North India near holy river Ganges. Since then this seed has grown into a large-scale tree,which is giving flowers, fragrance, fruits and shade to all. Currently more than 10000 students study in entire group.14 schools and colleges, 36 Yoga & Vedanta Ashrams, 7 hospitals, 5 Orphanages, 1 old age home, Cow Shelters, etc. are running on charitable basis.Yoga and Vedanta are main streams of education. Ayurveda is the traditional Yoga Therapy system of India. While Ayurveda is a complete medical science, Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy focuses on the practices of Yoga and how they participate in the healing process.
Course Structure :
Philosophy: Sankhya and Vedanta.
Ayurvedic Principles: Five element theory, Tridosha, Qualities of Nature, The five pranas.
Vedic Psychology: The three gunas, prana, tejas, ojas, the nadi, the five koshas, seven bodies and seven chakras.
Yoga: The eight limbs of raja yoga are taught within the context of healing. Emphasis is placed on learning how to utilize the practices of asana, pranayama and pratyahara for healing.
Anatomy: Basic Study of Skeletal system, Digestive system, Muscular system, Lymphatic System, Endocrine System, Nervous system, Cardiovascular system, etc.
This program includes lecture, practice, and teaching and at least two hours of asana class each day
