Osho Dharmatirth foundation was established in 1996 with motive to reach people with Osho's vision and meditations. With support from Osho meditation resort Pune the foundation held various meditation camps celebrations and Osho books exhibitions at various places in Madhya Pradesh. With this ongoing work many Sanyasin came together for this cause and practiced meditations on daily basis at a small house in Govindpura. With continuing demand for a bigger place for the meditations and get together for various celebrations one sanyasin gifted a land of one acre to the trust in year 2003 to establish a fully fledged meditation place where everyone shall be benefited. Ten other sanyasin contributed money to build the meditation hall (Maitreya Bhavan) of 1000sq feet and 10 self sufficient rooms (Pragya Bhavan) for the mediators. The meditation hall and 5 rooms were inaugurated in July 2006 and thus the Osho Anhad Commune took its first step towards the only well established Meditation center in Central India. With its daily meditations and monthly camp organization Osho Anhad Commune became very popular among the sanyasins in central India. Osho Anhad Commune is continuously progressing and becoming a beautiful place surrounded by trees and at a quiet place just 10 km away from the Bhopal city. The environment is very supportive for who wants to be in silence and be one with universe.
