The S m yoga research institute is a non-profit making organization founded in the year 1982 Shri Swami Dhirendra Brhamachari ji Maharaj (Great Yogi from India ) And Achrya Dharmnath Shastri ji Maharaj (Disciple of Shri Swami Dhirendra Brhamachari ji Maharaj ) for the research and re-establishment of ancient Indian cultural science of yoga and the mission – to spread peace, health and joy through yoga and its spirituality for well being and holistic healthy living, which is getting disappeared in the hectic modern living. The Sri Sankat Mochan Yoga Research Institute aims at health not just only physical but mental and spiritual as well. S m yoga research institute is the only Government certified Yoga Institute in Vrindavan. The Yoga Institute is located at the famous Parikrama (pilgrimage) Road, near the holy river Yamuna, next to many other ashrams and temples. The natural surroundings, the fresh air near the river Yamuna and the ayurvedic trees of this location makes it a peaceful and harmonious place for your Asana, Pranayama and Meditation practice. Another location of the Institute is situated near the Parikrama Marg, in the village Rajpur. There are 40 rooms, where the Yoga Philosophy and Meditation classes take place. The Main Office of the Institute is situated in the town centre of Vrindavan, at the Loi Bazaar. The guest rooms are located in a nearby Guesthouse in the Parikrama Marg. Which offers a unique platform to learn yoga and meditation amidst ashram surroundings. All are welcome to come to our ashrams (centers) to learn not only about how yoga can help maintain a healthy body but also how yogic philosophy, applied in daily life, can help maintain a peaceful mind and spirit and Practice Yoga near the Holy River Yamuna, in a peaceful and natural environment. Where you can learn teaching yoga authentically, preserving its purity and tradition dating back several thousand years. It also offer a wide range of programs and even the possibility for spiritual growth through Karma yoga as a temporary or full time volunteer staff program participant.
