I am Jenil. I have been studying, practicing & teaching yoga for over 5 years, and it has become my life now! It inspires me to live each moment more mindfully. Yoga has provided me the tools what I have learnt on the mat which is strength, focus, flexibility, compassion & patience and to apply it in the world where it really counts. I wish to give back to others what yoga has sparked in me by leading sessions, workshops, teacher training, events, festivals and retreats across the globe. My aim is to communicate the essence of the timeless yoga teachings in a lively, everyday, understandable language so that they can be consciously integrated into everyday life and life. My class will be the one that is filled with people of all ages, languages, and cultures - where all bodies are welcome and our common spirit is celebrated. I truly believe that yoga is a practice that meets you where you are and takes you where you want to go. Yoga has the power to transform your body & mind. The purpose of hatha yoga is to keep the yoga aspirant healthy and free from disease in order to facilitate the practice of raja yoga as given by Patanjali for the purification of the mind. Prolonged work on the computer & sitting on the office chair for 8+ hours can lead to a sore lower back, stiff neck, strained joints, tight hips and shoulders, bad posture, digestive issues & low energy.
