The Yoga teacher training has been a great personal challenge as well as a fantastic human experience. I would not have been able to complete it without the constant support and dedication from Radhika and the entire Yogacara team. They have welcomed us everyday and created supportive learning atmosphere around us. I particularly enjoyed being trained by multiple teachers, each one of them an expert in their respective fields. The TTC is now over for me, but it does not mean I am done with Yogacara, as it has become my second home and the beginning of my path of Yoga. Namaskar to all of you.

The Yogacara TTC was an amazing way to advance my personal yoga practice and delve into yogic philosophy/sutras. It was remarkable to experience the application of yoga in my every daily life. Each course instructor specialized in a particular area and gave great depth to each class with their area of expertise. TWhile the teacher training component is valuable and central to the course outcome, the platform for personal development during the course is remarkable. Radhika is supportive and really guides students through the waves of transformation that are possible during the course. I could not have asked for more in 5 weeks! The Yoga Philosophy Course gives you a good knowledge and understanding of the Yoga Sutras and Bhagavas Gita. It leaves you thinking about your individual path, and your connection to this physical world, and gives you the practical wisdom to navigate through the challenges presented to you in daily life. I really enjoyed this course as it was a great balance between theory and practice. Personally it was a great way for me to begin to understand the Indian culture. I loved the lunch everyday. It was healthy and satisfying and the café was an excellent venue to get to know other people in the course as well as to discuss some of the course content.

The Yoga philosophy course has given me a much clearer vision of my inner most being and my inner world. I am grateful that I followed my inner intuition to do this course though I am a complete newcomer on the Yogic Path, and neither am I a Yoga teacher. Abhishek, Shailaja and Radhika have all been excellent and complement each other in a perfect manner- be it with explaining the history and background, the Bhagavad Gita, the Yoga Sutras, and then bringing all of this alive through guidance and practical implementation into daily life, to create a more fulfilling life experience. The course has been spiced with a lot of information, and it has been a revelation for me to see my life clearly. I enjoyed the whole atmosphere, the students, the daily sattvic yogic lunch, the discussions, and the exchange of thoughts.

The TTC program at Yogacara was a memorable and life changing experience. The Yogacara curriculum is the most complete and unique you will find anywhere, and the instructor are an inspiration to all of us. I have learned a lot not only about yoga, but about philosophy and about myself. It was the best decision I've taken in a long time to spend those weeks deepening my yoga practice and awakening my spirituality. I highly recommend the Yogacara TTC program to anyone who has a real interest in Yoga. Each class will complement each other and by the end of the course you will have a great understanding of what yoga really is and how to apply the yoga way of life as you go back to your normal routine. I joined Yogacara in February 2015 to calm my mind from the constant buzz of Bombay city. Over the last 6 months, apart from calming the mind, the benefits I have gained are manifold. I started seeing increased flexibility within 3 months of regular practice. This was followed loss in inches and increase in lung capacity. I can now swim a lap of 24 metres without taking a break. My levels of energy are higher and my body clock has got attuned to a rhythm. My Grandfather, who introduced me to yoga in school used to tell me that yoga makes you strong from the inside. I understand and experience this after regular practice at Yogacara. Every morning, the class is elevated to another level when Radhika, my teacher, shares anecdotes about the roots of Yoga. To give you an example, she recently told us that in the beginning years our journey in yoga according to Iyengar is to align the body, open it up and make it a self healing entity, and a pathway for spiritual development. Poonam, my other teacher ensures that we are aware of our breathing through all the asanas. Who would have thought that one can release pain through conscious exhalation or that spinal cord is a channel for the breath to move freely. These are some of the aspects that Poonam teaches in class and helped me improve asanas. I have gone to other institutes and pursued forms likeaerobics, running, gymming, dance, but nothing has made me feel the need to get deeply involved in the practice. I attribute this to the depth in the teaching philosophy at Yogacara. They take us to the roots of the practice, share teachings from the Yoga Sutras, combine it with the needs of today's times eg: releasing the IT band for a runner and make the experience wholesome. Amidst the crazy pace of the city, Yogacara is my idyll, my heaven in Bombay.

YogaCara Bandra is a refreshing approach to the practice of Iyengar Yoga , and that comes primarily from the dedication of its teachers , their on hands approach and patience to teaching is un-parallel , Radhika has a wonderful and insightful teaching methodology which makes you fall in love with the practice simply through her enthusiasm and dedication. Special mention to Renee too for her soft spoken yet perfectionist approach. I totally recommend Yogacara and their faculty for anyone who is serious about learning the practice of yoga.

Radhika is a fantastic teacher! She changed the way we were living our life through yoga & healing . Dear Radhika, Within a few days, my time in Mumbai comes to a close. Mumbai, the place I was reluctant to come to. Mumbai, the place that surprised me with all its magic and all its wonderful and beautiful people! I know, Mumbai and Yogacara will stay in my heart forever as my amazing journey begun at Yogacara. The staff at Yogacara, the Yoga classes, the overwhelming experience of the Yoga Philosophy Course and our group, the advise of Dr. Amol, the detox, the massages, the continuous change of my lifestyle. Probably I should call Yogacara my 'second home’. The past months have been extremely challenging for me, but I could experience a calmness of mind and a growing inner strength, which helped me tremendously to manage this part of my life, and all this related to Yoga. I am more than grateful for all of that!! Dear Radhika, I am writing to thank you for the quality service and attention that you have given to me over past few years. After moving to Mumbai from the U.S., I was interested in pursuing yoga and advancing my knowledge about the practice. I am so glad I found your wellness center. At Yogacara, I found a center that was invested in my complete wellness. From the yoga classes that took into consideration the needs of each student to the Ayurvedic massage and treatments, I have found that I have become a much healthier and well-balanced person as a result of taking advantage of these services. After one year of coming to Yogacara regularly, I decided to apply for the Yogacara Teacher Training Course. I was apprehensive at first about if I was prepared for the commitment, but it was such a good decision. Not only did I improve my understanding and practice of asanas and sequencing, but I learned about anatomy, meditation, pranayama, and philosophy. On top of that, I spent days with people (from all over the world) who became new friends. The dialogue with instructors and other students was enriching and powerful. Overall, the course helped me to recognize that yoga is a life practice. When practiced with intention, its benefits are physical, mental, and spiritual. The instructors were knowledgeable and invested in the students learning, there is a strong focus on alignment and safety, and the sattvic meals were delicious! I left the course with a new confidence and excitement about my yoga practice and opportunities to share that knowledge. I want to extend my appreciation to all the staff at Yogacara that I have gotten to know, and the TTC . I feel so fortunate to have had the Yogacara services available and accessible to me. It has made my time in India a much richer experience. I look forward to a lifelong yoga practice which will forever be nurtured by my initial experiences at Yogacara. With gratitude
