One should must visit this place. A very humble abode to find inner peace. Good food, good vibes and last but not the least kind hearted friendly people. Experienced staff who knows their job. Mine for sure was a fabulous experience as I did get the mental peace that I was looking for. I strongly encourage everyone, singles, couples and families to once in their life must take out sometime and stay in this very relaxing place and experience a wonderful yogic culture which brings utter peace to your individuality.. Nirvana Yoga Shala! Let's start from the beginning, I came here completely fresh into yoga just with one goal - to become flexible and my oh my, I got a lot more than just that! Everything that has happened has changed my entire perception of LIFE. Instead of my body being flexible I'm finding out how flexible my mind can be too! New ideas, new thought Patterns, new way of living and finding peace, the universal truths and so much more. I am not only getting to work on my physical strength but I see how Shashi Sir has challenged me in my mental and emotional aspects of life, helping me let go and think of things in a way I never saw before!!! Nirvana Yoga shala is one of the best Yoga shala in Mysore. I have learnt yoga from different teachers earlier but none had thought me this well. I have been practicing here from past 3 years and also did my Ashtanga TTC at Nirvana Yoga Shala. Shashi sir and Karthik sir are the best teachers you'll ever find. I'm proud and grateful to be their student. EVERY staff at Nirvana Yoga shala are friendly and very helpful. If you're here for Teacher's training course, they make sure the place is as comfortable as your own house followed with healthy diet and the experience is going to be AMAZING. So don't even think twice before joining Nirvana Yoga Shala.

Blend of traditional Yoga techniques, meditation and pranayama. Given the current scenario of work from home, I had stayed with Nirvana Yoga for close to 15 days for practising yoga. It was a life changing experience. Never before I had felt so strong and positive in life. We had a serious routine which had blend of all the yogic techniques. 1) hatha/ ashtanga yoga at 6 am - you can join any class basis your strength 2) pranayama - 45 minutes of learning about right breathing/ techniques of breathing and benefits. Extremely useful in the times of corona and for mind’s soulfulness 3) meditation - we had evening meditation classes where we tried different type of meditation, third eye, Tibetan singing bowl, dance meditation. It opened up a new world of possibilities for us. I feel meditation is a way to reflect on self and we got to learn much more about this century old techniques. They also have back bending class which is more for advanced level folks. The food was healthy, diverse and hygienic. We didn’t expect such quality food but it was way above expectations. Room quality - each room has a balcony for circulation of air and is clean and well maintained. We stayed in Osho glimpse which is newly constructed. Sashi sir is extremely knowledgeable and is keen on sharing the same with folks. The staff is professional, super helpful and supportive. If you are planning to take up Yoga seriously and as a way of life, I will surely recommend you to learn from Nirvana Yoga Shala

Nirvana yoga shala is a amazing place to have the teachers training. I am having a great experience which I will cherish for my life time. The teachers, staffs are so much friendly and interactive, you will feel like another home. The teaching of yoga, pranayama, meditations, yoga anatomy classes are just amazing... I will highly recommend Nirvana yoga shala for them who wants to pursue yoga teachers training.. you will definitely love it.

nirvana yogashala is an amazing place to learn yoga , the place , staff shashi sir who is amazing guru for meditation and pranayama , nandish sir for hatha yoga u were too good, karthick sir for backbending and ashtanga , dr shashirekha for anatomy , shailaja for philosophy , soumya and pallavi for their ambience , cooks kirthi and nagu , guards nagesh and gavi , everyone is so perfect in performing their duties at this place , that i have fallen in love with this place , was there for hatha will def come bak for my future yoga practises , and if anyone is searching for best place in mysore for yoga i can totally recommend it is one of its best 😍😍

I have taken the online TTC Hatha yoga 200 hrs with Ms.Stella. she is an outstanding teacher, a very gentle human with a very deep understanding of yoga. She leads with love and passion to see the best outcome without enforcing. I wish her all the best and happy to have known her.

I'm aarti satav from mumbai.first of all I would like to thank the nirvana yoga shala ambience and all the teachers, and the hospitality provided. I had a wonderful experience in asanas pranayama and mediation specially the sing bowl, osho dance mediation and so on the amount of dedication given by our teacher are incredible. This is one of the best yoga school in mysore to begin with and i enjoyed the journey of yoga and its never ending.

It has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made to spent my last one month at Nirvana Yoga Shala to pursue Ashtanga TTC. The staff including the cooks and the cleaners were amazing! They made sure everything was attended and made us feel at home right from the day one! What an experience ! I am really grateful to have had the opportunity to complete my course under a very learned and humble teacher, Stella(Jagadamba). Getting certified from Nirvana Yoga Shala was one of the best decisions I took. The study material the school provides is sufficient to get immense knowledge on the subject. Regular practice and theory classes are conducted with variety of things to learn in each class. Theory classes are as good as the practice ones. In a nutshell, I received more than I had anticipated. Thank You

If you thinking about which place is good to start yoga in mysore or if you are working from home need change in lifestyle. You can try this place for sure. It has high quality rooms with good wifi connection and a working table so you can work from this place. The food is amazingly good. You can have lots of vegetable and fruits along with your meal. For yoga you can join hatha or Astanga in the morning, followed by pranayama. The teachers, Nandesh and Kartik were really experienced. If you are free, you must try backbending classes in afternoon and meditation in the evening. I have not taken TTC, it was like yoga vacation and I enjoyed very much staying at that place.

I was lucky to stay at Nirvana yoga Shala for almost one year. I’m very grateful for all the knowledge and experience I acquired there. The teachers are awesome. Pranayama and meditation teacher, also the owner, Shashi Kumar TN, also known as Swami Deva Arhato, was generously sharing his great knowledge with students, also being very kind, helpful and generous. Karthik is a great ashtanga and Hatha teacher, I have learned a great deal from him. Stuff was very friendly and helpful, food was very nice, facilities were great I’m very grateful for everyone who contributed to my pleasant stay at Nirvana yoga Shala I strongly recommend this place for anyone who wishes to learn and practice yoga

I did an Online 200 hrs TTC from Nirvana Yoga Shala. And that was the best decision I made😇.. There are ton's of ads on the internet about Yoga courses, but this had a certain positive vibe about it. My teacher was Ms. Stella, the most gentle, grounded and kind person I have ever met. She made the postures so easy to understand. I cud for the 1st time ever try shirshasana!! The theory sessions were equally informative and made me aware of so many aspects of yoga in my daily life. I would highly recommend to all whoever is thinking to join.. Just go for it!! 😇😇

Good hospitality, nice accommodation, nice and experience teacher, good management and staff members and nice food. I learn many new things in Nirvana yoga shala. I want again come visit and learn more. Thank you Nirvana.
