In the last 3 months, the world has seen a very difficult time. It has changed everything for everyone. People suffered and still suffering, others realized many new things, understanding the importance of health, limited needs, nature connection, and so on.
During these difficult times, at Yogapoint Ashram, we wanted to contribute back to society and help people to the best of our abilities.
Distributed food packs to 500 families (wheat flour, rice, lentils, spices, oil, tea, sugar, salt, and chili). One pack will last for 15 days in a family. Many daily wage workers who live in the small villages needed a helping hand due to no work as everything is locked down.

Bhagavad Gita is a dialogue between Lord Krishna who symbolizes supreme consciousness and Prince Arjuna who represents human consciousness. Prince Arjuna asks questions to Lord Krishna about his problems. Arjuna is in a state of depression, and despondency. Lord Krishna helps him realize the purpose of life, meaning of life and inspires Prince Arjuna to live his life in contentment and peace. The Yoga sutras are written by the Great sage Patanjali 2500 years ago. Patanjali's sutras are called Yoga Psychology, he has focused on evolving the mind from a negative state to a permanent blissful state of "Samadhi" or "Sat Chit Ananda". So one should understand ones mind and channelize its force. Science of Yoga is a holistic one focussing on positive psychology, it includes theory and practices of developing positive state of mind and positive, creative behavior or karma. The problems of human beings are in the conditionings of their mind accumulated in so many births. Yoga focuses on changing these old conditionings from their root so the negative state is changed to peaceful and content state of mind. This change can be experienced by anyone with regular practice. This course focuses on Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (Ashtanga yoga), Bhagavad Gita & Upanishads. These texts focus on human life with a goal to achieve and to experience positive, balanced, content and peaceful state of mind which is not dependent on or influenced by external events or objects.
