ICYER at Ananda Ashram

I have spent two weeks at the Beautiful Ananda Ashram. I received the most wonderful welcome and the two weeks spent following the rhythm of practice with fellow students. The place to learn authentic yoga. It changed my life.

This is my favorite place on earth. This is the place to come if you are truly looking to learn and grow. Here you will get to know your ego, you will get to know tools and techniques to grow and evolve as a human being. This is the place where I consider myself to be from, this is the pace I learned to know myself.

The most beautiful experience I have ever had. I not only left with a deep connection to the Ashram and lineage but continued relationships with those that I met there from all over the world. Ananda Ashram brings people together.

Yoga is the way of Life." If there is any place on Earth you can live true yoga in all its forms, it is ICYER. Its a laboratory where one gets an opportunity to do extensive research on oneself. I did the 6-month Yoga Teacher's Training in 2004. Small groups, intense and serious work... but also a lot of laughter and joy. My two years at the Sivananda Ashram provided me with a solid foundation in Yoga but ICYER allowed me to go deeper into the practice and be connected to the Paramparai in a personal way. That responsibility is a serious one.
