My review is not just about my journey but for all those ladies who have lost themselves in catering to the needs of people around them.
l joined sir's classes with severe knee pain and swelling around knee and bad shoulder,neck pain.I feel so great while writing this,that I m almost out of it now and all thnx to sir.
His vision about body awareness is so clear that it makes you realise that all those things you were doing to your body thinking to be normal are actually working in all the possible negative ways for your body;even a simple yet important thing like sleeping position which was the culprit for my neck and shoulder pain,which sir made me realise.For my knee issue I even visited the Dr.,he referred me to a physiotherapist,I was not really convinced,started ignoring my problem thinking it to be nothing much and ended up in trouble,all thnx to sir that he showed me the correct path towards recovery.
Initially my postures were custom made,just to correct my knee issue and I used to think why am I not doing what others in the class are doing but that was a deliberate move by sir to prepare my body to be able to do rest of the things also properly.Now,I can do many postures correctly.
The way I keep my each step is with awareness now,I won't say I have become the best version of myself, there's lot more to learn from you sir.
We females,all know how important our health is but that is just in the books or in thoughts but I would like to encourage you all to please don't avoid the problems,mental or physical,that you might be going through,push yourself for YOURSELF.Just come once,not to check sir's abilities(as he's really really good) but to find the real you.Yoga is not just an hour of physical activity but a change in your lifestyle.
Sir,with true respect,I owe you alot.
I also want to thank Anu ma'am,who silently watches you and corrects you, supports you as and when required.
Hoping for a long association with yoga under your guidance sir and ma'am as you always say consistency is the only key.🙏
