Hi all, I am Devendra very glad to post my experience with Soham Yoga. I was suffering with Back Pain (mid back) from 2-3 years, at its peak I was not able to walk more than 10 mins. I slowly started increasing walk few mins every week. Doing consistent walk, I was able to walk every day 45min. During pandemic I started work from home, few days used Office Chair but I was getting back pain. I started sitting on bed with legs folded to avoid pain. For few months it was okay but then I started feeling pain in lower back. I started sitting on Office Chair again but in fear that now mid back pain will come back, especially as I do many long conference calls.
I came to know about Soham Yoga from my wife. She was going from few months and she recommended me to join as well. Initially I was hesitant as couple of years back when I joined one Yoga Class but while doing one forward bending posture incorrectly my back pain got worst and I had to go for treatment. But my wife gave me confidence that Umesh Sir has good experience and would definitely help.
I Joined Soham Yoga in Feb 2021. Sir started very slowly with some stretches and gave some specific postures. In a weeks’ time I started experiencing difference. He observed me very closely to understand limitations and slowly started working on them. In one month, time I was clearly seeing the difference. Only one thing I always reminded myself that I am not going to do any posture more than my limit and not going to give-up doing yoga for very long time. In past many times I joined Gym but never continued more than few months, as most of the time got myself hurt or losing interest.
At Soham Yoga you not only get to learn practicing good yoga postures but you actually learn to work on many of your weaknesses. Sir is very good counsellor too, while doing yoga he always shares his experiences of different issues that people suffer through related to their physical and mental health. He is the one who helped me to keep focus and consistency, I am very happy and feel blessed that I am doing Yoga more than year now! I wish that this continues for many years to make Yoga as my everyday normal life activity.
There is lot to say but let me put some prominent points to give you all that I have benefited in last one year
1. Huge relief from back pain and its fear. It does not go completely in the sense if do any overactivity I still feel it is coming back but then it goes away in a day or two.
2. I was not able to do most Yoga postures taught in class, I am now doing most of them. I know this is just a start and there is lot to learn and finetune the postures. But have confidence every quarter I am clearly going a step ahead.
3. Helped to practice consistency. I am very delighted that I have achieved the current level where I am and will become more and more stronger.
4. From 2020 my work pressure and number of work hours are increasing. Since I started practicing Soham Yoga it helped me to keep maintain my physical and mental fitness even in peak time.
5. Helped me to overcome my procrastination, there is a noticeable difference. I use to just think, now I action more than just think. I am now able to wake up early morning without my mind taking control of me giving excuse of tiredness etc.
6. Feeling lot more energetic and my physical confidence level has increased.

My journey with Soham Yoga Studio started in December 2019. I joined Yoga class during my second pregnancy period. Sir asked me do some basic postures, but it was difficult for me in early days. Soon I realized that if I want a healthy life then Yoga should be part of my life. Sir has abundance of knowledge in Yoga and explains various postures as per the individual need and capability.
I faced some blood sugar issues during my second pregnancy, I never had any sugar related issues earlier with me or my family. I focused to maintain the sugar with exercises and Yoga and it really worked. Without much medication I managed that during my pregnancy and now I am doing perfectly fine.
I had a normal delivery and this time from the labor pain till the delivery, it just took only 3 hours. I had a very smooth delivery compare to my first delivery which took more than 8 hours.
Few tips for pre-natal females:
1. If your Doctor allows you to do exercises, then daily do at least 3 km walk and Yoga.
2. During your pregnancy, try to remain active entire day and stay happy.
3. Avoid high sugar and salted food. If your legs have swelling then do basic exercises.
After 6 months of my delivery I resumed back and doing Yoga. I really feel positive and my concentration level improve significantly. Yoga has become a key part of my life and to large extent the credit goes to Umesh Sir. He has been a big motivator and supporter on this journey.
Every morning, I look forward to my Yoga class. It makes my Day.

I am writing this review post my almost 6 month’s experience with Soham Yoga Studio.
I was detected with Cervical Spondylosis last year in Oct 2021, I had severe neck pain and was unable to sit in chair and work. Had intermittent numbness, in left hand. I visited few renewed Orthopedic doctors and the response was disappointing. They said its a progressive disorder and can’t be reversed. This was gloomy and it disturbed me psychologically too.
The medicines I got were mainly painkillers and calcium, Vitamin supplements. Traction gave temporary relief. I understood that perhaps there is not much cure options available in Allopathy, hence I decided to go for an Ayurvedic treatment. I took messages continuously for a month. I started feeling better but as soon as the treatment was over the pain came back.
That was very difficult time, by the time I realized that that I need to have some guidance with respect to my postures and the pain was evident as soon as I sit and start working. Hence I started looking for Yoga classes for guidance and thankfully I came across Soham Yoga Studio site. I read most of the reviews and I could relate to them.
I contacted Umesh Sir, he asked me to send my reports and with in 10 mins he replied that he could cure me. I was immersed in tears. Next day I joined his class. He asked me to skip all the Yoga postures others were doing and gave me specific postures exclusively for neck. He advised to do it every 2 hours at home. Initially I was little hesitant cause I did not want further damage but he was certain and I had no option but to believe in him. I started working on myself meticulously as he was guiding me. Never missed a session and did all postures whenever possible at home.
Initially it gave a feeling that how these simple postures could cure me, but eventually I realized their importance and potential. Sir also guided me to correct my postures and retrospect my actions so that I can catch which action is causing me pain. Within one and half month I was almost cured. I kept continuing my neck exercises in the class and at home and a day came when I started doing all postures others were doing.
Meeting Umesh sir was a blessing in disguise. If it wasn’t him, I could have easily stuck in doctor’s cycle.
I can’t thank him enough, I deeply appreciate his guidance on every aspect of life and will continue my journey with Yoga.

Hello All, my journey with Soham Yoga Studio started in Jan 2019. God bless my friend who recommended Sir to me. This review is no match for invaluable benefit that I received after starting yoga under Umesh Sir's guidance.
There were several problems. Most noticeable were Insomnia and Acidity. People who are even slightly aware of these problems would know their impact in day to day life. Doctors medicine were temporary relief. Only yoga helped.
Umesh Sir guided us in right direction.
His daily talks along with yoga postures kept me motivated. His way of handling on-going health problems and guidance helped us find root cause. His continuous recommendations on diet were a big advantage. It changed my life completely.
Over past years, I have become more aware about diet , postures, pranayam and actually everything that I do. I am way more healthy and joyful now. I do not have to take any medicines. There is no bigger relief than having an excellent health.
A big big thanks to Dear Umesh Sir for teaching us way of life. May God continue to bless him forever.

I feel ecstatic as I write my experience of a journey that I have embarked upon, only a month ago. Also I realise how lucky I was to find Soham Yoga studio. I have had PCOD for more than a year now, my periods are always delayed and wouldn’t get them without medication. After several trial and errors, to try yoga was my only ace in the hole. And bingo! For the very first time, almost after a year and a half I have got my periods on time. Ofcourse, I did follow a good diet, stressed and worried a little less but yoga wins all my heart. Although I wasn’t regular to the class for a week due to personal & work commitments but I tried to attend online as much as I could. What I also enjoy is Umesh Sir’s ability to transform complex information into easily and understandable approach and knowledge that he shares with us during the class. Doing Yoga is slowly becoming an essential part of my life as I see myself progress. I absolutely encourage you to join the classes. My journey has just begun and there’s a long long way to go but I know I’m progressing already.
