I enrolled for the tantra teacher training for last summer. Even when we were forced to hold classes online, the spirit and energy was very well transmitted through the air. The Samarpan School of Yoga and Tantra offers authentic and ancient-style teaching. Depending on the course I enrolled in, I have classes with different participants, and sometimes I am the only one. The knowledge you receive is very thorough. I got more than I asked for. And I believe I will stay with them for a while.

Swami has spent a lifetime acquiring the wisdom that has been traditionally been passed down, and it is quite apparent when he teaches that he knows what he is talking about- there is a lot of misconception about what Tantra is; this was authentic. I felt great energy in his presence and that helped me on all levels-emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. I would not hesitate to take another course from him or any of the teachers in his ashram and highly recommend it.

I like the purity and authenticity of the ashram atmosphere, and the order there. The location is very calming and brings the feeling of union with the nature. Also, I was lucky to meet swami ji last year and since then learning from him the rituals, the yoga and it's such a bliss to be involved in the ashram gatherings and events. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

My experience at Swami Samarpan Ashram began with a 100 hour Kundalini Tantra Course which then became a full 200 hour Teacher Training Course (TTC). Following this, I went on to study a 300 hour Advanced TTC with Swami Ji. During my research for where to study in Rishikesh, I was adamant I wanted to find an authentic experience that was rooted in tradition. The study of Tantra - which is one of the oldest systems of yoga, weaving together many different techniques - was exactly what I was looking for. Swami Ji has been on the yogic path for 30 years and runs what I would call a "proper ashram". While staying there, the student is expected to listen, learn & help with the day-to-day running of the ashram. There is a strong focus on karma yoga - whether it's washing up, gardening or selling the ashram's organic bananas to passers by (which was pretty fun!) The fantastic teaching, the food, the karma yoga, the pujas (ceremonies), the beautiful natural location - everything about this place is authentic, real yoga. It's not a holiday camp, it's not a hotel, it's a place to study and receive yogic wisdom passed down over centuries. As a Westerner, your ego and intellectual mind will be consistently challenged on a number of levels - but that's the reason I personally came to India. To grow in a way that only results from exposing yourself to such challenge. If this sounds of interest to you, I'd highly recommend the range of Tantra Yoga courses on offer at Samarpan Ashram.

My experience cannot be put into words or a simple review to fully articulate its power. If you are looking for authentic tantra, this is your place. Swamiji and the other teachers transmit the teachings EXACTLY how it was taught by the yoga masters and sages from generations past. On beautiful grounds, in a serene setting, and with tiny class sizes, this is the perfect environment to study and practice in.

I highly recommend this course for anyone interested in the philosophy behind tantra yoga! You learn so much about the body and its energy centers and the daily karma yoga teaches you to drop the ego. The karma yoga consisted of chopping wood, cleaning floors and bathrooms, gardening, and just helping with whatever needed to be done. It's so much more than just an exercise, yoga is a way of life that they teach very well here!

i have been studied Tantra Yoga Course in this school with direct guidance of Himalayan Master Swami Samarpan which is unique in Rishikesh and been others Schools in India too. What is unique of this School is Traditional techniques in the lineage of Bihar Yoga and Shivananda Yoga and Special Ashram out of Crowded from the city.

This has truly been a spiritual an eye opening experience. If you want to deepen your understanding of yoga and be immersed in authentic yogic life, then this is the place to go. I came here for YTT 200 and I found that the teachers/swamis were very experienced and wise beyond words. I hope to come back soon!

Tantra Yoga school in the tradition of Bihar yoga and shivananda yoga at rishikesh. it is a traditional yoga school and authentic ashram which is different than other school. i personally has yoga education with other school but i spent some time in this school and meditate in Panchagni Tantric fire ceremony and did Karma yoga such as cleaning ashram corridors, helping in gardern and pour water for the banana Plants. thank you Guruji Yogiji.i recomend to all join this school for karma yoga and study free from karma of sufferings. om Namah shivay

Very peaceful place to stay away from the noise of Central Rishikesh. The Swarmi was very welcoming and accommodating for me as a Western Tourist. I would definitely recommend this place if you like peace and yoga.

I did the 100hr Kundalini Tantra course and it was a humbling experience. This place taught me a lot about expectations, anticipation and dropping the ego. Its a true ashram experience with hard beds, amazing sattvic food, communal bathrooms, karma yoga and zero hype. The teachings here are very simple and authentic. At times it felt unorganised as teachers were changing some days, but this taught me to go with the flow. It is a very quiet place and at times I was the only student here, allowing more personable relationships with the teachers. Swami Ji was in silence my entire stay, which I think is important to convey prior to students arrival, as some may not resonate with teachings in a silent manner. Overall I enjoyed my stay here.

MY 10 day Kundalini Tantra course turned into a 200 hour TTC. The ashram gave me exactly what I needed at exactly the right time. Swami Samarpan is a great teacher, and also facilitates other teachers to come in to deepen your experience. The ashram teaches traditional and authentic yoga and this is reflected throughout your entire experience. The ashram is very traditional and the facilities are basic. Karma Yoga is a big thing, so you will be expected to wash up, keep your room tidy, /help with cooking, and gardening. Swami Samarpan Saraswati and sent many of his years in traditional Ashrams studying with his Gurus, and has been on the spiritual path since he was 18 years old. This is what makes this ashram special. It's not fancy, or commercial. It's Real. A real Ashram Experience with a real swami, who is kind of a saint...if you're seeking a deep spiritual treating and space to realise your own truth, then this is the school for you. If your seeking a certificate, or lots of social activity, or to be catered for like a hotel... then I would suggest seeking other school. Remember, India give you what you need, not what you plan, expect of think you need! Remember that. If something is calling you then go with it.

I met swami samarpan master from himalayas at mexico city. I joined his yo ga nidra and meditations was super.i feel my kundalini energy and happy and peacefull. Thank you namasteji
